Auberge du Soleil and Swanson Vineyards to Celebrate Their 25th Anniversary

Two of Napa Valley's best, Auberge du Soleil and Swanson Vineyards, will celebrate their 25th anniversaries with an intimate, elegant and enormously memorable celebration they will host together in late October.
In honor of their shared anniversary, Swanson Vineyards' founders and proprietors, W. Clarke Swanson Jr. and Elizabeth Pipes Swanson, along with Auberge du Soleil's Executive Chef Robert Curry, will welcome wine-and-food aficionados for an exclusive opportunity to join them at a luxurious reception and five-course feast at Auberge du Soleil on October 30 beginning at 6:30 pm.
Robert Curry, who is the Executive Chef at the Restaurant at Auberge du Soleil, has designed a spectacular five course tasting menu accompanied by wines from Swanson Vineyards. The cost to attend the exclusive event, which is limited to 50 guests, is $250 per person. Reservations for the dinner can be made by telephone by calling (707) 967-3147 or by email: lwilson@aubergedusoleil.com.
The Restaurant at Auberge du Soleil recently won the Luxist Awards Readers' Choice Award for Best Romantic Restaurant and also has been awarded a coveted one star rating by the Michelin Guide. Swanson Vineyards, the 100-acre winery located in Oakville in Napa Valley, is nestled between Opus and Silver Oak vineyards. Swanson is best known for its merlot wines, but also produces superb cabernet sauvignon and pinot grigio, in addition to smaller lots of select wines.
Also in honor of its 25th anniversary, but separate from the reception and five course dinner celebration described above, Auberge du Soleil is offering a getaway package. The package includes a two-night, three-day stay in a Main House Hilltop View room, a bottle of wine and fresh fruit in room upon arrival, chef's tasting menu for two (not including alcohol), daily breakfast for two in the restaurant and a 60-minute fresh herbal tea and steam therapy for two. The package also includes a four-hour tour for two with a private sedan and driver, and includes a special tasting at either Staglin Family Vineyard, Swanson Vineyards or Far Niente wineries.
