--Guitarist Brian Bell of the alt rock band Weezer has purchased a Spanish-style house in Los Angeles for $1.6 million.
--Musician Herb Alpert and his wife, singer Lani Hall, have listed a house in Pacific Palisades, shown above, at $2.6 million. The listing is here.
--Sports agent, developer and rare-coin collector Dwight Manley has listed a remodeled house in the Hollywood Hills at $4.995 million. The listing is here.
--Marc Blucas, who was on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" as Buffy's boyfriend, Riley, has listed two houses for sale in Brentwood. The listings for both homes are here.

--A penthouse on the top floor of the 56-story Park Millennium building near Lincoln Center is being listed this weekend by Prudential Douglas Elliman for $34.5 million.
--An Park Avenue apartment designed by architect Charles Gwathmey is on the market for $5.7 million. The listing is here.

--Meg Ryan has signed a one-year lease on a three-bedroom rental at 40 Mercer in the $25,000-per-month range.
--Kelsey Grammer and his pregnant flight-attendant girlfriend, Kayte Walsh, are still apartment-hunting together and were most recently seen hecking out a $12.24 million apartment at the storied Apthorp building.
--Real estate investor Jonathan Eilian is spending $55,000 a month on a penthouse rental at 80 Columbus Circle, also known as the Time Warner Center's Residences at the Mandarin Oriental. The 77th-floor unit is also listed for sale at $35.5 million. The listing is here.

--HealthGuru.com founders Joshua and Marsha Silberstein have sold their apartment at 301 East 87th Street for $1.45 million.
--Less than two months after the condo at the Atalanta at 25 North Moore formerly owned by Damon Dash and Rachel Roy was auctioned off for $5.5 million by Eastern Savings Bank, the buyer, Mr. Stasis' One Platinum Company LLC, is taking Ms. Roy to court to evict her.
--A two-level penthouse in 166 Bank Street, just across the hall from Heidi Klum's former Manhattan crash pad, has sold for $4.1 million.
--The Tudor Village home of the late Lovelia Fried Albright, the daughter of Mackay Construction George Fried and by some reports the first American to enter East Berlin during the Cold War, has sold for $1.07 million.

--A Brookline, Massachusetts home owned by Mark Andrus , co-founder of Stacy's Pita Chips, has been listed for $12.5 million.
--Howard Michaels, the CEO of Carlton Group, a real-estate investment bank, has put a Manhattan condominium on the market for $9.8 million.

--Johnny Depp has been hunting in north London. His budget is up to £25,000 a week. He's looking for a large family home in St John's Wood, Highgate or Hampstead.
--Cult Notting Hill textile designer Celia Birtwell has bought a country cottage with a lush garden in Worcestershire.
--Best-selling biographer Robert Lacey has sold his four-bedroom Pimlico house for £1.65 million through John D Wood and paid £600,000 for a two-bedroom Victorian semi off Fulham's busy North End Road.
--Film producer Amy Gilliam (Terry Gilliam's daughter) has spent an estimated £485,000 through Aston Chase and Pilcher Hershman on a one-bedroom Camden loft apartment overlooking Regent's Canal.
