Bang & Olufsen Teams Up with BMW

Ask any audiophile or design enthusiast who makes the slickest sound systems on the market, and they're likely to point you towards Bang & Olfusen. But the Danish audio company doesn't just set up your home sound system: they've been working on a rapidly expanding array of car systems as well, including those in Audis, Aston Martins and Mercedes AMGs, and have now teamed up with BMW on their latest.
The first Bavarian motor work to feature B&O's technology is the new 6 Series Coupe Concept slated to debut next week at the Paris Motor Show. The show car packs no fewer than sixteen BeoLab 5 speakers, including a pair of subwoofers (one under each seat), seven mid-range speakers and seven tweeters, as well as Bang's proprietary Acoustic Lens Technology. Though strictly a concept car at the moment, we don't doubt Bang's systems will find their way into commercially available BMWs before long.
