Tag Heuer Hackett London Limited Edition Watches
Swiss watch maker Tag Heuer and British men's wear designer/retailer Hacket London have teamed up to offer two limited edition Tag Heuer Carrera based Hackett timepieces. The relationship is interesting because Hackett is known for their quintessentially British style clothing, while Tag Heuer makes (mostly) classic/timeless style sport watches.
The two watches that will be available are specially made for Hackett and have a unique style to them. The Hackett watches are simple, and have easy to read dials with a traditional, yet slight sporty style to them. I love the names that they give the watches, which are almost too simple. The smaller three-hand automatic they just call "The Watch," while the large Carrera automatic chronograph is just called "The Chronograph." They come in steel cases with black dials, and "Blue Cornflower" accents on some of the hands. The Watch has a Hackett "H" for the 12 o'clock indicator, and the rest of the Arabic numerals along with the hands stick out for ideal legibility.
Pretty nice pieces if you are interested in more fashion oriented Tag Heuer limited edition watches or in Hackett products overall. The watches are limited to just 100 pieces each. The Tag Heuer Hackett "The Watch" will retail for 1,800 euros, while The Chronograph will retail for 2,800 euros. Look for them in November.
