Everything just looked tired and cheap when it came to the decorating. They need to lose their designer and get someone with some taste in there. And all those cheezy cheap looking 4 poster beds. What up with that? The furnishings take away from the house itself, the awful beds get in the way of admiring the beautiful ceilings, the icky, moderny furniture detracts from the house itself. The vaulted high ceilings with the beams are nice, but certainly don't cost what crown, chair and base mouldings do or tray/coiffered ceilings. The floors are ok.........the marble in the bath nice..........but again overall just nothing that screams millions of dollars. There is a substantial amoung of masonry work, hardscapes etc which certainly push the value up. But seriously, did you see the lower level play room?? It looks like something out of a Toll Brothers McMansion.........big plain room barely filled with much and certainly no building value.............not even a toothpick of trim or luxurious floors. This house should bring no more than $4 million in my opinion.
Poorly done.

Cheryl

Comments on Spring Creek Place, Estate of the Day

Offer $4 mill, or are you just trolling?

elrumba

Comments on Spring Creek Place, Estate of the Day

Really, where is the swimming pool?

Dee Dee

Comments on Spring Creek Place, Estate of the Day

I did see a Jacuzzi off the kitchen outside. It is exactly what I have thought I would want in a home. The location is what makes it worth the price, to me. I am in my seventies and would love to just live my life out walking through this home and seeing the views from all the windows, in the winter. In the summer it would be heaven to sit on one of the outdoor terraces and enjoy all that scenery, as well. The kitchen would be a dream for family gatherings. To those who don't like the furnishings, I would just say, who cares about the furniture when you have so much more to love with this home. We can barely afford where we live now, so of course I am just "dreaming", but it doesn't cost anything to look.

William Bischoff

Comments on Spring Creek Place, Estate of the Day

that place is just like that cereal '' GRRRRRRRREEEEEEEETTTTTTT '' and everything in it would hate to see the heating bill tho. during the winter

twbirdsong

Comments on Spring Creek Place, Estate of the Day

i didn't see anything cheap in this house

ruth

Comments on Spring Creek Place, Estate of the Day

How large is the lot?

gopfrombama

Comments on Spring Creek Place, Estate of the Day

Well, anyone wants to buy it and give it to me, I could move right in and never leave. Just the view alone is spectacular. The partys you could have with a piano player playing that baby grand would just be the best time ever! You would never lack for company if you owned a place situated in the mountains like that. Who looks at the furniture, the kitchen, the stone walls, the high open windows, my goodness, what more could you want? And if you have to worry about the electric bills, you can't afford this house. I'm ready to go!!!!!!!

Kathy R

Comments on Spring Creek Place, Estate of the Day

Well, I cannot afford it, so I might as well go ahead and criticize what I could never own anyway! It is big and expensive. Certain aspects of it project that, however, I see a big, cold, not decorated well attempt at being grand. It is not warm, cozy or well planned out. Think for a second about where you would sit to relax and enjoy the house. I did not like the ceiling treatment in the bedrooms nor the furnishings. I believe with a little creativity, you could have a much more inviting, liveable home with much less square footage than this one; cheaper too!! Me, I live in a 5,500 square foot, three story house; 4 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms and an inviting lower level basement/entertainment center that opens out to a patio. I've got a fire pit and a gazebo. Original price was $490,000.00 plus enhancements I have made over the last 5 years. My taxes are $3,600.00 per year. I am damn satisfied and happy as a lark!

DR

Comments on Spring Creek Place, Estate of the Day

I'VE BEEN A REALTOR FOR NEARLY 40 YRS; THIS LOCATION IS FAB........
AND THERE IT STOPS.
