Indian Billionaire to Be World's Richest Man by 2014

Forget Bill Gates, Warren Buffet and Carlos Slim: in four years' time the world's richest man will be Indian commodity king Mukesh Ambani (above), Forbes predicts in a new special report on the coming decade in finance and economics. The magazine estimates that Ambani's fortune will have swelled to $62 billion by 2014, outpacing the rest of the contenders, including current world's richest man Carlos Slim who's currently worth $53.5 billion. Mexico's Slim, who's made some risky investments including a large stake in the struggling New York Times, will be "hit hard by Mexican political and financial chaos," Forbes predicts. Ambani, 53, is currently the fourth richest man in the world with a fortune of $29 billion. He is the owner of Antilia, a 27-floor building in Mumbai which includes his family's private residence of 400,000 square feet, making it the world's first billion-dollar home and the largest private home in the world.

And that would be mostly American money....the Indians don't HAVE money that isn't ours....
Thanks all of you politicians.....you're found yet another way to bankrupt us, and have the money show up in a 3rd world country, to some fricken dork.

Anybody who selfishly wants to own the world will inadvertently create
jobs. So what? He could be creating more obviously and helping those
in his country.
Let me guess? you are another dope republican? Sickening. Go kiss
bush's behind while you are at it.
We would be in a depression if he were still leader of this country.

With so much poverty in India and other countries - - - how does this man live with himself? Even here in the United States - - - it is pathetic that the RICH and FAMOUS flaunt their wealth over those of us who are barely able to live from month to month. As for myself, I could care less how much money someone has because I am BLESSED with the knowledge that I am able to meet my monthly obligations. As far as I am concerned - - - the WEALTHY are heartless people who are only concerned about themselves!

He makes his billions on the backs of slave labor at pennies per day wages. Some accomplishment! You too can be a billionaire if you have millions of slaves working for nothing!

It does not suprize me that Shaib Ambani is the richest Billionare in the world. Any society that can turn a country as huge and as populous as India, formally a British Crown Colony; only an independent state since 1948, into the industiral powerhouse that India has become is destined to become a first class wold power. Unlike the USA which has wasted its National treasure and her native sons on foriegn interventions. The US by maintaning its troops on foriegn soil, such as Afganistan, Korea; all over Europe, since WWII, which ended nearly 70 years ago; is now broke and heavily in debted to Communist China. Any country such as the US who thinks they can tax their way back to economic freedom and suprimacy in the world of jobs and business has another think coming. I say
right-o to India and keep growing your Billionares. May be they, the Indians, will see fit to invest in the greatest manufacturing country that ever existed. But do no wait too long, as before you can say 'OKEDOKE,' the US will be a spoon-fed nanny-state where no individual has any of the necessary skills to work in; or the capital to start up and run a factory.

Well, Angela, you are one sanctimoius lady, aren't you? You seem to have all the answers....(I will save you from commenting on my spelling of "sanctimoinius"...I am not about to spend time on checking it.)

Ever wonder why the country with the world's richest man has the world's poorest population? It's because they invented "Wealth Shifting" far earlier than Ronald Reagan did! It was a simple matter to "sucker" their population into accepting "Trickle Down" and they were off to the races with a two tiered society. Beware "My Fellow Americans" We tread the same path today!

It would be great if rich people would share their wisdom with us. But I hardly think they would give away their knowledge unless you pay for it. Take KFC for instance, he has his recipes locked up in a vlolt not even the employees at KFC know his secret recipes. Nobody gives anything away for free.

How many AMERICAN jobs did he take over to India to become this wealthy? THE HARTFORD INSURANCE company just sent 20 more jobs from Connecticut to India. This country is so sad to allow companies to export jobs overseas when people here, US CITIZENS, need these jobs. Greed is an awful thing. I won't patronize a black indian business. I'm sick of our money going to immigrants. They don't even pay taxes on most of their income. And, the black indians certainly don't spend to put back into our economy.

If it was me, I would be quite happy with 1 billion. I do believe I would give the rest away, heck, how much can you spend in a lifetime?
Hey Bud Sep 14th 2010 5:23PM

To all those so rich they couldn't possibly spend it all: Sure buy a great home, great things, lavish in all nice things, I'm sure you deserve it but how much is enough and when you lay your head down at night how can you not think of all the needy and sick children, homeless animals and seniors who can barely afford to buy bread? And yes, I volunteer atleast 30 hrs/week and donate money and other things ALL the time.
Willy Sep 14th 2010 6:22PM
For me, I am sick and tired of seeing busloads of "needy seniors" filling up the casinos, spending their Social Security checks on gambling, then screaming that they can't afford to live on SS. Give me a break.
kriegsview Sep 14th 2010 6:38PM
Good thing they dont live in the US, death tax and estate tax will eat them up. At 55% hmm it would be great for Obama. see some of the new tax laws at www.kriegsview.com you will be surprised.
Hugh Hefner Sep 14th 2010 7:48PM
...And HOW MANY people are starving in his country..?? In the world..?? Please don't ask me for donations when people like this are sitting on a huge mountain of money... 2% of the world's population holds 98% of the money...
