Fashion's Night Out - A Smorgasbord of Events in NYC and Beyond

Come to our SoHo pop-up store and meet Rachel Zoe (8-11 PM) and the designers of Project Runway (6-8 PM)! While you're there, you can shop our favorite fall trends and exclusive styles. And show off your fashion savvy in our styling loft. Shoppers will receive an exclusive tote bag by Michael Costello from Project Runway.

For this year's Fashion's Night Out, DVF will be uniting high fashion with high tech! Taking the digital lead, DVF is joining forces with HP and Refinery29 to bring you the DVF + HP Experience Lounge. This multimedia event is equipped with the latest fashions and tech products, like HP TouchSmart screens, as well as a photo booth where shoppers can pose in a a Refinery29 styled DVF wardrobe, then print the images or live stream them into the lounge for all to see.

W Hotels has enlisted renowned fashion illustrator Danny Roberts, of igor + andre fame, to create a limited-edition canvas tote bag in honor of fashion's biggest night. The only way for consumers to get one is to stop by W Hotels The Store at W Times Square on Fashion's Night Out from 5-8 PM. Danny himself will be on hand to sign the bags of the first 100 customers who make a purchase at the store. He will also be showcasing an exhibit of his favorite work in The Living Room bar of W Times Square that night. One lucky guest will also be chosen to win a personal portrait sketched by Danny. In addition, any shopper who comes to The Living Room of any W Hotel in New York with receipts totaling $250 or more from their Fashion's Night Out shopping will receive a complimentary cocktail from W's "Stylish SIPS" menu (featuring cocktails inspired by fashion's biggest names, including the Yves St. Germain, the Miu Mimosa, and the Proenza Spritzer). And for fashionistas that need some R&R after a shopping extravaganza, bliss Technicians will be on hand to give guests complimentary "Credit Card Relief Hand Massages" at W Times Square and W New York.

To share their love of sweets, designers Sam Shipley and Jeff Halmos of Shipley & Halmos have partnered with Guerrilla Ice Cream to serve guests summer flavored ice creams at Odin in Soho. Known for their eclectic and innovative flavor combinations and socially-conscious initiatives, Guerrilla Ice Cream collaborated with Sam and Jeff to create a special Brooklyn Brewery Brown Ale and honey flavored ice cream that will only be available during Fashion's Night Out in addition to four regular flavors that include a candied fennel and almond flavor, cashew and bruleed banana flavor, spice cookie and lemon zest flavor, and shredded coconut with lime zest flavor. All proceeds from ice cream sales for the evening will be donated to the Street Vendor Project (http://streetvendor.org/about). Brooklyn Brewery will also provide beverages as guests enjoy a special live in store performance.

Kai-aakmann, stocked at Oak on Bond Street will host "Style Intersection" in which guests can personally style a male and a female model, illustrating the versatility of the unisex component that's central to the brand. Guests will have five minutes to select Kai-aakmann samples and then create one look on each of the models. Each guests looks will be photographed and posted on the official Kai-aakmann facebook page. Kai-aakmann fans will then vote on their favorite looks by selecting to "Like" the image. The guest who created the look that has the most "Like" votes by the end of day on Monday, August 13th will win a $500 Kai-aakmann gift card. Guests can enjoy refreshments from PBR as they add their individual creativity to the versatility of Kai-aakmann.
