Kuki'o Golf and Beach Club, Estate of the Day

Bank-owned and beautiful pretty much describes the latest Hawaiian property being auctioned off by Concierge Auctions. This home on 1.6 acres in Kuki'o , home to the Kuki'o Golf and Beach Club, will be sold on September 3. The bank-owned property has never been offered for sale before and there is no minimum bid. The sale is being conducted in cooperation with Kuki'o Properties.
Kailua-Kona, which means "leeward" in Hawaiian, is on the sunny west coast of Hawaii's Big Island. Until the late 1900s Kailua-Kona was primarily a fishing village and is still a more secluded retreat with warm trade winds and over 300 days of sunshine a year.
72-3203 Punaloa Place is a 5,795-square-foot residence that is being sold fully furnished. The four-bedroom home has perfect of the Pacific Ocean, and each bedroom suite has a private bath with an outdoor shower garden enclosed by lava rock walls. The master suite has sliding patio doors leading to a lanai with ocean views, his and her closets, and a spacious bathroom with dual sinks, glass enclosed shower and a limestone-lined soaking tub. The kitchen features a wraparound bi-level island designed to create a "gathering place." Outside there is a midnight blue vanishing edge pool and spa, inlaid limestone deck, and a 200 square foot "Pai Pai" – a thatched bamboo trellis, and an outdoor stainless barbecue grill.
The auction will be held on Friday, September 3 at 11 a.m. For more information visit www.KukioLuxuryAuction.com.

I'll take it for $1,000,000. Seriously, I'll write them a check today for it at that price.

Lucky me - I got to spend sunset at this gorgeous estate home last night with a few of my closest colleagues (we call the "cooperating" Brokers on the Big Island because for the most part, we really do all get along and have fun together despite being "competitors") with some wonderful food and wine - absolutely fabulous! The price I kept hearing whispered over and over was $3M. In my opinion, if a buyer snags this house for $3M, it will be the deal of the Century! We'll find out in a few short weeks... Warm aloha from the Big Island, Katie.
