Michael Jackson's Final Home Back on the Market

The Los Angeles mansion where Michael Jackson was living when he died in June 2009 is back on the market. The Real Estalker reports that the lavish Richard-Landry-designed home on North Carolwood Drive in the elite area of Holmby Hills has been listed for $28.995 million with Jerry Jolton of Coldwell Banker Beverly Hills South.
At the time of his death Jackson was renting the seven-bedroom home for $100,000 a month. The French-chateau-styled mansion is on a 1.26 acre lot. The home is owned by Roxanne and Hubert Guez. Hubert Guez is the current CEO of the Ed Hardy brand. Last year it was reported that Ed Hardy designer Christian Audigier would be moving into the home and planned to do business from there. The home was on the market for $38 million in 2008. Hubert Guez bought the home in 2004 for $18.5 million. The home was built in 2002 and includes a library, theater room and wine cellar. There is also a pool and a guest house on the property.

WoW ! This home is exquisitely beautiful, but it's connected to, too much pain, the demise of Michael, I for one, wouldn't want to live there. It's museum quality.

I guess all the $10,000/month homes were rented to the 'less worthy'.
Justme053059 Aug 5th 2010 11:18AM
Yuck

I don't see how all that fits on 1.25 acres. I live on 1 acre and could not get 1/4 of all that on it.

Michael didn't pay any rent for the time he lived there. He was allowed to lived there during the time he was prepairing to go on tour. The owners of the Staples Center own the house at the time and gave it to him to use. It is in a nice area, Holmby Hills is the Beverly Hills of Beverly Hills, it will go for that price, nice home.

Disgraceful show of greed, should be ashamed of themselves.
dmfischetti Aug 5th 2010 5:50PM
Why should they be ashamed??? If I had that kind of money I would love to purchase a home like that & so would you.
Ana Aug 8th 2010 3:14AM
The asking price is too much for this market! Deflation is in our way talks.

Most vulgar display of wealth I've ever seen.
silverstone Aug 5th 2010 12:47PM
Amen to that. Gross. Notably when some 20 million plus Americans are looking for work. Ostentious, obsessive and pretentious overconsumption. Little wonder how or why America is so massively screwed up.
dumb Aug 5th 2010 12:42PM
Hmmm. Bought it for 18.9mil in '04 and in a DOWN mkt wants 28.9mil??? Give me an effing break. Eat your loss, Guez. Get over your big fat egotistical self. Geez. Talk about EXCESS and GAUDY. Sell it to the Saudi's - if you're so desperate.
ladydonnajean Aug 6th 2010 7:08AM
All of that and he was miserable. Goes to show you that money doesn't take care of the inside mess. Sad.

Where is the nice room where all the little boys were staying??
jaguar02 Aug 5th 2010 5:07PM
Your a real MORON. You should try reading instead of playing with yourself. The two boys that accused Michael came forth when they grew up asking Michael for forgiveness . The told the media and law that it was their parents that put the kids up to those disgusting accusationa agaisnt Michael. They said their parent wanted to get rich from Michael's money. They in fact set the record straight, but unfortunately, it destroyed Michael's career and perception of him. Try taking the time to think what you would do and how you would handle such a false accusation against you.

It is so sickening to know this pervert was allowed to go free after sexually abusing so many boys. It is a shame that this country allows his type to get away with child molesting, murders, selling drugs and even killing innocent dogs by making them fight. That is why our local Tea Party is asking us all to vote out the Democrats who support crooks like Obama and his kind. They should all be in prison for life.

Michael Jackson's "type" was fully acquitted in a court of law, with all child-molestation allegations dropped. MJ's "type" loved animals, kept a zoo-like menagerie on Neverland, and was never connected with the faintest whiff of suspicions of any sort of mistreatment of animals. In fact, for at least a time he was known as a vegetarian; and he worked hard to raise the doltish masses' awareness of environmental destruction [I know, you inbred oaf, it's a "hoax", yes, it's a "hoax"]. I thought AOL was going to be removing ignorant and offensive posts. Why and how did this idiotic "opinion" pass inspection in the first place? MJ gave beauty to the world, was forever and constantly telling his audiences "I love you" and "You're beautiful", and @-hole comments like the above, from haters, prove that MJ was as good as crucified -- too good for this world. May he rest in peace. As for the house, it is very large, but living in a crowded world, for far too long, I would love such a giant house for the peace of mind it would give. It's hard as hell to get away from deadheads who bombard you with their ugly noise all the time. I would find it rather sad, given what happened there, but MJ was such a positive presence that I think the bittersweet feeling would be mostly sweet. Bless his soul.

Albert,
You should think before writing anything. What kind are you referring to? First of all your kind introduced all this perversion into this country. We have for the most part anglo catholic priest abusing children for years, a pornography industry introduced by white trash, and we all know that poor "those kind" you refer to could not afford to bring drugs or sell in this country without the rich, white, and other financing it, and having it transported and distributed.
I was watching TV last night, and some so called producer has a play with twelve buck naked men parading around on stage - who is writing/financing this disgusting display, and who's watching this disgusting display. YOUR KIND. So take your racism elsewhere.
