A Real Housewife of New Jersey's Bankruptcy Auction

Teresa Giudice one of Bravo's Real Housewives of New Jersey is bankrupt and her furnishings are headed to the auction block on August 22. She and her husband, Giuseppe "Joe" Giudice owe $10.85 million in debt. The couple has filed for Chapter 7 meaning that their belongings will be liquidated.

The items being auctioned were in the couple's foreclosed home and seen on the show. A.J. Willner Auctions is running the auction which includes a Schaefer & Sons Grand Piano, a Wolf stainless steel range, a six-foot Satsuma temple urn, plenty of ornate furniture including both a pool table and a poker table, a suit of armor, chandeliers and sconces, framed paintings and a Sea-Doo Bombardier jet boat. The word "faux" appears frequently in the descriptions of furniture and decor.

Those interested in buying will need to have a 25 percent deposit in cash or certified funds ready at the time of successful bid and full payment is due on August 23rd. In order to attend this auction, interested bidders are required to present a $300 refundable deposit at time of registration to serve as the required deposit until a bidder's balance exceeds a $1,200 threshold. At this point bidders will be asked to increase their deposit in order to satisfy the 25 percent requirement. There is no buyer's premium.

Another gilt frame mirror, this one is 8'x10' and a kidney-shaped vanity table.

A leopard love seat and upholstered club chairs.

A wood and faux leather topped credenza and wall mirror with faux leather frame.

A Connelly antique style pool table with a pine frame.

A mahogany poker table and four leather swivel arm chairs.

A mahogany home bar and stools.

A faux marble chess set.

A foosball table.

A suit of armor.

LIfe is so complicated,,,,Theresa is rather naive and not too bright...and yet
I like her. Her taste in furnishings is really a little showy, and her kids are spoiled rotten, her husband is a chauvanist, ....and yet I feel sad that these two are losing
their home and furnishings. Somehow, they are both so simple and naive, that
that makes up for their lack of taste. Compared to Danielle Staub, Theresa is a saint! Danielle is vicious, coniving and seriously dangerous to society...DAnielle
to me, is the personification of evil. Whew! She scares me!

Ah, another story of a selfish woman who thinks she`s "all that" and isn`t , driving her husband into the ground. I don`t understand how anyone , in this bad economy, can live way beyond their means, and instead of thinking about their children and their "good and welfare", think only how they appear on these stupid reality shows. who the hell cares how up scale these unrealistic people are living. Everyone of these "real housewives" shows that have been flooding the Bravo network have shown nothing but drama, cat fights, stabbing each other in the back, and anything else they do only to prove how unreal these reality shows really are. I for one believe that these shows are more in line with soap operas. It`s all about the ratings. The producers don`t care that these people end up bankrupt and in divorce court, as long as the ratings are up and they`re making money. What a joke.

ABSOLUTELY JOE !!! She is nothing more than a greedy, materialistic wannabe ! Her daughters are brats and mimic their mother to a T. You gotta love Carma , her with her high and mighty attitude about being skeeved if she were to have to move into someone elses home instead of building their own. They will be lucky to move into someone elses home now, they may be smelling pizza from the apt they are forced to live in . YOU MADE YOUR BED TERESA, HAPPY WIFE , HAPPY LIFE? 10.85 million in debt?! She not only looks and acts like a moron, she spends like one.

The real story here involves all the "Real Housewives" shows. I would love to meet whoever picks the housewives. Whoever it is has a really unique, and insanely viscious sense of humor. Finding, and signing, that many sociopaths for all those shows is a gift.

I actually love her furniture- it's flashy and I seriously doubt she bought the furniture at Big Lots, get real. Teresa is a fun drama queen- can't wait to see her on the next episode.
Bottom line, those of you who are making fun of Teresa's furniture are obviously jealous that your home is full of trashy- hand-me down- particleboard dressers. lolol

Yeah I'm jealous of her faux furniture, her bankruptcy being displaced on National TV, and her classy demeaner. I'm so jealous right now, I'm going to start a fight at a friends fashion show and maybe flip over a table ... like an angry hairy gorilla! But only because I'm nice, I'm nice right? She was cursing Danyaile out because she said her house was in foreclosure...and she was right! She always was saying how Danyaile had no money. At least she did not live above her needs. On the new episode shown tonight, its obvious that her and her husband are both in denial. He chartered a airplane and gave her a five carat yelow diamond ring. And she does have an awful taste in furniture, very gawdy!

Personally, I have never watched nor will I ever watch any of those reality shows although I do stumble across their antics online and read about them from time to time, (which just solidifies why I'll NEVER watch that crap.) The only comment I'd like to make is what is up with that faux orange tan of hers? OMG. Looks like she is queen of the oompa loompaa's.

But she is so "Nice" or at least she tells people and herself she's nice. She's a bully, immature, pshycotic - cant control herself. She's simply experiencing karma. Her husband is better off divorcing her and starting all over. She's only going to drag him down again, those bad spending habits aren't going away.... poor guy, poor kids.

A real woman would start making some pizzas in his pizza shop. God forbid she ruin her nails!

Everytime someone buys something and doesn't pay for it but files bankruptcy and taxpayers foot the bill it is called stealing. She goes on Television numerous times and denies it, thats a Liar and she put down ALL of you who so love her azz because she ( at the time) had more toys then you! But keep on lovin her , buy her book ( the title of that is stolen from another Housewive ) one who is actually successful and RICH .

It is really sad to see how much joy and pleasure some people get at anothers loss. Yes, Teresa may be a spoiled princess but, she may honestly not had any knowlege of their debt. Joe is the provider of this family and he is the one who was doing all of the spoiling of her. She spoiled the children, but what parent doesn't want to some times? Make sure your own house is clean before you start trashing someone elses! The way this economy is going it could be anyone in their situation.
