A Real Housewife of New Jersey's Bankruptcy Auction
Teresa Giudice one of Bravo's Real Housewives of New Jersey is bankrupt and her furnishings are headed to the auction block on August 22. She and her husband, Giuseppe "Joe" Giudice owe $10.85 million in debt. The couple has filed for Chapter 7 meaning that their belongings will be liquidated. The items being auctioned were in the couple's foreclosed home and seen on the show. A.J. Willner Auctions is running the auction which includes a Schaefer & Sons Grand Piano, a Wolf stainless steel range, a six-foot Satsuma temple urn, plenty of ornate furniture including both a pool table and a poker table, a suit of armor, chandeliers and sconces, framed paintings and a Sea-Doo Bombardier jet boat. The word "faux" appears frequently in the descriptions of furniture and decor.
Those interested in buying will need to have a 25 percent deposit in cash or certified funds ready at the time of successful bid and full payment is due on August 23rd. In order to attend this auction, interested bidders are required to present a $300 refundable deposit at time of registration to serve as the required deposit until a bidder's balance exceeds a $1,200 threshold. At this point bidders will be asked to increase their deposit in order to satisfy the 25 percent requirement. There is no buyer's premium.

So because she has four kids that's an excuse to spend beyond her means???
Her kids don't need any of those things to be happy.
Linny Jul 27th 2010 12:30AM
her kids don't look like they are suffering at all. In fact from what we have seen they appear to be very big brats and not very well behaved
Carly Jul 27th 2010 12:41AM
No, I never said that because she has 4 kids she can live beyond her means. I also never said her kids need any of those things to be happy. What I'm saying is that it is very traumatic what her kids are going through right now. Not losing material things, but the fear that comes along with possibly losing the roof over your head.
flashygrrl21 Jul 27th 2010 5:16AM
Its a big kick in the pants for all of them. It'll get the kids off their big sense of entitlement REAL quick and that's a blessing for everyone because we don't need any more Paris Hiltons in the world!
BTW....that is the ugliest furniture ever. Some of it would not look bad at all except it was all crammed together with the ugly crap.
Barb Jul 28th 2010 9:55AM
Trust me those kids are going to be way better off now. Look at how conceited Gia is. Look at how that spoiled rotten Miliania was ripping all the stockings off the wall at the store and walking away. Those kids are brats and need to be brought back to reality before they grow up to be more rotten they what their mother is.
These people are what are bringing this country to its knees dont you "Teresa Lovers" see this?? Money doesnt grow on trees and until people like them start realizing that maybe this country will get on the right track again.
I feel so sorry for anyone that loves this moron!! You put yourself in the shoes of all the contractors and lumber yards that are owed $70,000+. How would you like it if your life suffered cause no one paid you the $ they owed you. Yet you saw them on tv loading wads of brand new clothes in a bag to go spit out another kid. Oh and thats another thing, they never even paid the hospital where they had the kid. Or the fertility clinic!!! Watching them give that kid an ATV for her birthday knowing they owe people that built that gaudy all that money is disgusting. These people need to go to jail!!! Make an example out of them already!!
So the next time someone owes you $ think about what it feels like to not get paid!! Put yourself in the shoes of all these poor people that were stuffed by this disgusting couple.
I despise them!!! Oh and if Mr Bankruptcy Trustee is reading this go find all the handbags Teresa is hiding. I would buy the Chanels and Louis Vuittons at auction. Surely another $3000 you could make to pay people back. The biatch is alot of of stuff she got from Neimans (that she stiffed too)!!!

And how many people have four + kids and live on WELFARE? And just keep pushing out more kids? And collecting more WELFARE?
fredhstclr Jul 26th 2010 9:37PM
YOU MUST REMEMBER SHES A JOISY GURL
JJ Jul 27th 2010 2:01AM
What the hell does that mean? I'm from New "Jersey" and would never purchase anything that looked like that! IDIOT!!! Good steriotyping!
joc514 Jul 27th 2010 10:52AM
Everyone makes me laugh..it doesn't matter what she bought and yes I'm from North Jersey also so there is nothing wrong with that. Remember WE ALL made them famous and maybe they felt they had to live high on the hog with the rest of the crew. Danielle is suppose to be broke also and doesn't appear to be concerned but knows how to throw it in Teresa's face on bankruptcy.. At least Teresa is doing her best to help the family..she came out with a great cookbook and her daughter is modeling, I've seen her on many covers of merchandise.. Let's help keep their moral up and not slander them otherwise we are all as bad as Danielle..GOD FORBID!!! I hope they find their way out of this hole soon, I enjoy seeing them in
NJ Housewives and obviously so do you!
Stuff Jul 27th 2010 7:15PM
To fredhstclr.
And you must remember that we in New JeRsey never say Joisy, unless your a transplant from Brooklyn and can't speak the Queens english.
Michele Jul 28th 2010 9:53PM
Seriously? No one born and raised in New Jersey says "Joisy". No one.
matt715 Jul 26th 2010 9:43PM
No class & no self-control. Does she think she was a queen in a previous life?
Edward J Hildebrandt 111 Jul 26th 2010 9:47PM
The best line she said was when her husband got his Tattoo and asked her is she was gonna get one. she said you don't put a bumper sticker on a Bentley. A Bentley Please she is more like a used Me Too Camaro ffrom the 80's. What a loser
metalgddess Jul 26th 2010 10:03PM
LOL, that is pretty funny that she said that... That show is the epitome of cheap skanks who think that they have class. I personally cannot stomach such a show.
bruce Williams Jul 26th 2010 10:17PM
Ed,
Why are you insulting Camaros comparing that Yugo to a Camero. They should auction off those tacky hair extensions to be used to sop up some of that oil spilled along the Gulf coast.
baxter Jul 26th 2010 10:24PM
oooohhhhhh my god,,,thanks for the laugh,,,did she really buy all that furniture at big lots,,,not only is this woman a dispicable person,,,she is soooo flipping TACKY
Hannah Smith Jul 26th 2010 9:45PM
A few weeks ago on the "Watch Happens Live" show with Andy Cohen, Teresa claimed that her house WAS NOT in foreclosure and everything was fine...so she is not only a woman with poor taste in furniture and decor but also a liar! Bourgeois, gauche and Rococo are the best words to describe that house.
Red Jul 26th 2010 10:03PM
The only thing that looked good was the tv otherwise the rest of the furniture is absolutely ugly and looks like junk. Absolutely no taste at all. I wouldn't even take this stuff if you gave it to me. Ewwwwwwww!
awesting31 Jul 27th 2010 12:14AM
I agree I would not bid on anything in that house except for maybe the fireplace accessories, and maybe one of those big screen tvs. Otherwise, all the rest of the furniture is tacky and old looking. It looks like it belongs in a castle somewhere on a hill in England. Who the heck really lives like that.
UNCLESAMSANTIKS Jul 26th 2010 9:55PM
All that new, gaudy crap...it's gonna be a bloodbath at this auction. Too bad they didn't invest in quality furnishings. Looks like Michael Jackson did the decorating for them.
