It is a gorgeous home but there are hundreds, maybe thousands pf similar homes in SoCal. Whoever buys it might want to do some spiritual cleansing, considering the intensity of evil that took place there back in 1962- a sweet soul being murdered-either by a cursed clan or by herself. Then again, any prospective buyer might want to examine their soul as to why they would want to pay twice the market value or more just because an American "idol" in the truest sense, happened to live there for six months. Ironically, inscribed in tile at the front entrance, was a Latin inscription that, translated, reads "here my journey ends." Prophetic, indeed.

mark christian

Comments on Marilyn Monroe's Brentwood Home, Estate of the Day

O, Mark !!
I can buy this gorgeous old house for only reason - to transform it into Marilyn Monroe Museum. MM is an American Legend, she's part of American culture, somehow MM is a part of American history.
Mark, your note about the house is very interesting , informative and would be used for future visitors. I have no money to buy this house, but my wish for the buyer- be smart. You're buying the GOLD EGG.
And you as a buyer will be in American history with Marilyn Monroe.

corn5025

Comments on Marilyn Monroe's Brentwood Home, Estate of the Day

Mark,I have read a lot about M.M. and her house keeper got the home when she passed,I read where Robert K. and Peter L. was the last ones be seen in that house before they found M.M dead, she talked to her step son on the phone, the last person she talked too.Yes there are a lot to that house, that people will always be wanting to look at.We will never find out.It is sad ,no body claimed her ,Just her ex-husband,Joe D.

kylady
