Miu Miu Opens New Porto Cervo Store

Miu Miu has been expanding rapidly in Italy lately. The brand, which is part of the Prada empire, recently opened a store in Bologna and in Forte dei Marmi. The latest opening is in Porto Cervo, seaside resort in northern Sardinia, which finds its harbor stuffed with luxury yachts this time of year.

The name of the collection is taken from Miuccia Prada's nickname and features clothing and accessories that are often a little more playful than the standard Prada offerings. Miu Miu stores often open with exclusive editions and this one is no exception, take a look at the two Porto-Cervo exclusives after the jump.

Combining a few trends into one, the Miu Miu Porto Cervo exclusive shoe mates a work-boot-like top with a casual clog-style platform.

The Miu Miu Porto Cervo handbag is a also a study in contrasts, the gold hardware lends a certain formality while the material and the frayed fringe and bunched tucking give it a more casual look.
