Cynthia Rowley Works With Pampers On Designer Diapers

Fashion designers have been creating more and more inexpensive tie-ins lately but Cynthia Rowley's latest creations are meant to be used and tossed away. The designer has collaborated with Pampers on a line of designer diapers. Pampers by Cynthia Rowley will be available in 11 colorful styles - for boys and girls - beginning in mid July 2010 at Target stores and on Target.com.
The diaper collection will be available in pastel designs including madras, stripes and printed ruffles. "As a mom, I wanted other moms and dads to have more options in every part of their lives -- even diapers," said Rowley. "It's the first piece of clothing your baby will ever wear, and it should be special." Check out two more other designs after the jump.

This delicate design not only looks cute, it teaches numbers. See the little numbers in the pattern?

This cute preppy design has a little pocket detail on the back.

Cool. I'm getting a little tired of the Sesame Street characters - and I think my daughter is too.

then use cloth diapers - there are LOTS of different colors, prints, and styles in cloth - not to mention all the CUTE diaper covers that are out there! :)

I wonder if they will be the controversial Cruisers with Dry Max, or the Baby Dry?!?!?

We have had cool designer print diapers for years. We will be sticking to our wonderful, cute, fluffy, soft, SAFE, cloth diapers, no way would I ever trust my babies bum to pampers, or any other brand for that matter.

Here are some local resources near you...

but there are also millions of online resources too. I would recommend starting with the first link, brookease - they look like they are not only a diaper service but also sell diapers and should be able to answer all your questions about cloth too. Have fun- cloth is great!

....CLOTH diapers have been cute for years. If you're going to put that much effort into somthing that you throw away and let sit in a landfill for 500 years then why not get cute, soft, comfortable, SAFE NON TOXIC cloth diapers that you use over and over and can actually get you money back out of! Give a mom 20 cloth diapers and she is set through potty training, giver her a pack of desposables and she is set for a few days...but please don't forget the rash cream that she'll need because of the toxic sposies!

I will never trust disposables again, after all the coolmax problems.
I am convinced cloth diapers are the way to go.
They are affordable, Eco-friendly, and adorable.
They are so easy to use and care for, I think everyone should consider using cloth diaper. They are obviously the smartest choice for parents and their children. Help do your part!

Cute disposable diapers are like cute disposable plates and cups. They have their place - good for parties and whatnot - but not something that you would use every day for every meal. That would be really wasteful. Same with diapers, I use cloth for every day, but once in a while I use disposables for specific situations like when i'm taken out with the flu or when we're camping. And sure, i'd rather buy cute disposable diapers than plain ones, but it still doesn't make sense to use them every day. I mean, I don't dry off after my shower with paper towels either...

Ok, so we aren't only making our six year old daughters beauty queesn, (Ramsey), but now the 2 month old will look good in diapers full of shit. Okie, dokie, then.

All i see is people talking about "Cloth Diapers" on all of these blogs about these new diapers. I personally think it is a genius idea and i am so happy that I can put my baby in these adorable diapers. Some of us just choose to use disposable diapers, We want to spend our own money, so it is what it is. I would rather throw the diapers away then wash shitty and pissy diapers every day!
Sarah Jul 20th 2010 7:15PM
Diapers are underthings and meant to go underneath clothing. My concern for cute designer diapers like these is that parents will be more likely to let their children run around fully clothed because their underpants are too fun to be covered up.
Brandi Jul 25th 2010 1:30PM
When you use cloth diapers, it's really not as bad as most people think. I wash diapers every 3 days, and it's only one load every 3 days, so it's not like I'm washing diapers all day everyday. And I would never put pampers, designer or not, on my baby ever again. He got such bad rashes from them. That's why I chose cloth diapers for my child. And honestly, these diapers are cute, but my cloths are adorable too. I never put pants on my son because his diapers are too cute to cover up!! :)
