Food Lovers' Guide to Brooklyn
Who better, then, to uncover and discover the very best that Brooklyn, New York has to offer?
Eisenberg's latest project is Food Lovers' Guide to Brooklyn (Glove Pequot Press, June 2010), a book that traces her search for the best restaurants, markets, and food producers in the borough. Eisenberg's research for the book included visiting nearly 600 establishments. She tasted the wide range of cuisines that Brooklyn has to offer and culled down her list to feature only the very best in each neighborhood.

Eisenberg's book takes the reader through each neighborhood, exploring both the tried and true icons as well as the outposts of New Brooklyn Cuisine.
Not only does the book cover the best in restaurants, but it also highlights neighborhood markets, food stores and local producers.
Food Lovers' Guide to Brooklyn includes maps and subway directions, which makes it possible for visitors to navigate Brooklyn with ease. An added bonus is that the book also offers recipes courtesy of some of the borough's most interesting food entrepreneurs.
"Ten years ago, I didn't think the Brooklyn food scene could hold a candle to Manhattan," says Eisenberg. "Now, Brooklyn has come into its own, and for many entrepreneurs, Brooklyn is the only place to be."
Food Lovers' Guide to Brooklyn (list price: $14.95) is available for purchase on Amazon.com, as well as at most major booksellers.
