Thomas Pink Teams with Pro Athletes to Raise Money for Charity
Thomas Pink is partnering with three professional athletes in three different cities to raise money for nonprofit organizations.
The first stop on the tour took place last weekend in San Francisco, as Major League Baseball player Kevin Kouzmanoff of the Oakland Athletics (above) appeared at the Thomas Pink boutique at 255 Post Street. Thomas Pink donated 15% of the proceeds to Kouzmanoff's charity of choice---the Wender Weis Foundation---which benefits at-risk, underprivileged children in the local San Francisco Bay Area.
The second stop on the tour will be in New York on Thursday, June 10th from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm when New York Giants All-Star cornerback Terrell Thomas makes a limited appearance at Thomas Pink's location at 520 Madison Avenue (at East 53rd Street) to raise money for All Stars Helping Kids.
Thomas will sign autographs as well as meet and greet fans while they shop for Father's Day gifts, including Thomas Pink's latest Men's Imperial Collection (priced from $270 to $350). Pink's White Shirt Collection for women (priced at $180) will also be available for purchase. Thomas Pink will donate 15% of all sales during the event to All Stars Helping Kids.
All Stars Helping Kids is a not-for-profit national coalition of athletes, foundations, individuals and corporations to advance physical and enrichment programs and policies for children living in low-income areas. It was founded in 1989 by Hall of Famer Ronnie Lott, who played for the San Francisco 49ers, the Los Angeles Raiders and the New York Jets.
Boston Bruins left wing Shawn Thornton will make an appearance at the third and final stop on the tour on Thursday, June 15 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Thomas Pink boutique at Boston Copley, which is located at 100 Huntington Avenue. Thomas Pink will donate 15% of the proceeds from the event to Thornton's charity of choice, which is the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
