The men's grooming label is celebrating its 45th anniversary with this particular model, made by Hart Steel out of black steel with a 14-karat gold inlay and sheathed in a custom horse-hide sleeve from Makr. The special edition will set you back a princely $345, but you'll want to budget a little extra for the right product to complete the perfect shave.

I own a straight razor and almost sliced my face to mincemeat with it. It takes practice. A girlfriend of mine tried it on her genitals and vowed she'd never use it again!
