Flying Dog Ranch, Estate of the Day

With Bootjack Ranch finally sold off we need a new high-priced Colorado ranch to obsess over. Fortunately there's another hound in the hunt. Today's estate, the Flying Dog Ranch, is a total of four parcels of 245 acres with possibilities for riding and hunting. The property is located in Woody Creek, Colorado, the home of the late Hunter S. Thompson and actor Don Johnson. Nancy Pelosi also has a home in the area.
The Flying Dog Ranch is one of the last remaining original ranches in the Aspen area and is adjacent to National Forest land with private access into the forest. It has extensive water rights, pastures and stables. The property includes the original homestead cabin built in the 1800s as well as the log cabin-inspired main house. The main house has log ceilings, a gym and unique spiral staircases with steps of logs that lead to an open second floor. This home is listed at $56 million.

The interior has to have the tackiest decorating for any home ever shown on EOTD. Did Hunter Thompson help the decorator during one of his drunken benders?

@DJ I am not even sure drugs will justify that interior... Damn thing has a barber chair next to the piano!

At least the barber's chair hadn't been converted into a toilet, as seen in another property long, long ago.
In the end, someone spending $50M+ is not going to keep the decorating, or the house, for that matter, especially since the property is located in one of the three or four most beautiful places on the entire planet.

It's hard for me to believe people will buy a ranch of this size for this kind of price! Same goes for the Bootjack Ranch.
Maybe I need to raise my price on my Montana ranch by about quadruple of its current 8.5M for 4000 acres. How much can it really cost to build a lodge on my ranch that's comparable to those shown on either of these ranches?
