Conan O'Brien is Majectic no more. The talk show host has sold his large duplex apartment at the Majestic co-op on Central Park West. The
Wall Street Journal's Josh Barbanel says that the deal came in at close to the $29.5 million asking price. If the unnamed buyer closes in that price range it would be the second-highest sale of the year so far in Manhattan and would be the most expensive sale at the Majestic. The unit in the twin-towered building was created by combining two apartments on the 17th and 18th floors. There are a total of seven bedrooms, three terraces and two libraries. John Burger, a broker at Brown Harris Stevens had the listing. O'Brien moved to Los Angeles when he took over "Tonight Show" on NBC. In 2008, O'Brien and his wife Liza paid $10.75 million for a six-bedroom home in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles. Looks like O'Brien and his family will be staying in Los Angeles for a while, especially because he has a new gig as a late night host for TBS.
