New Bakery Chocolates from Godiva

What else is there besides chocolate that generates so much passion among the sweet savvy? To satisfy those addictive cravings for sweeter than sweet chocolate treats, Godiva Chocolatier will launch a new section of luscious chocolates including bakery goods in the fall. But be forewarned...a little goes a long way as these delectables are intense. Tops among the new offerings is a Belgian chocolate flourless cake, $45, a stunning way to top off a great dinner.

Godiva's new Bakery Dessert Truffle Collection, also to be introduced in boutiques and online this fall, features six different types of truffles, reminiscent of the little delicacies that arrive with your bill at pricey European restaurants. Godiva's new truffle flavors are tiramisu, carrot cake, cheesecake, lava cake, red velvet with a chocolate interior coated with a white-chocolate shell, and the amazing strawberry tarte truffle. Six pieces-- and I dare anyone to eat more than one at a time--cost $15; 12 truffles, $25; and 24, $50. Less decadent and less sweet, but just as indulgent are the chocolate-dipped madeleines (just as Proust remembered) coated entirely or half-way in chocolate.

If you want to whip up a fab dessert more or less on your own, check out Godiva's Mousse Cup Dessert Kit, $20 that comes with 16 tiny dessert cups and a mousse mix to fill them with. Add a berry or two or a sliver of chocolate and you have an easy dessert whipped up in a flash. Order online at www.godiva.com or at Godiva boutiques nationwide.

Best Chocolates in the world are Cummings Studio Chocolates in Salt Lake City Utah. Everytime I go there I bring back a box of Key Lime Chocolates. My neighbors that used to rave about Godiva and Sees are always knocking on my door when I get home. SIMPLY THE BEST!!!! I dont know if they ship but they are PHENOMENAL so if you or anyone you know ever goes there have them pick up a box ... The other flavors are great too but the Key Lime is the perfect after dinner chocolate.

I don't care about baked goods, why did they stop making their ice cream??? It was the best chocolate ice cream you could buy.

I think that Godiva is a few years behind! DOVE Chocolate Discoveries has been doing this for 3 years! Right down to the Mousse and the dessert cups! Their products are amazing and can be found at www.dovechocolatediscoveries.com and you can contact a Chocolatier in your area or become one!

That's right, Lisa!! DOVE Chocolate Discoveries(DCD) does have similar products!! But the best part about DCD is that people can find a chocolatier in their area and actually have an IN-HOME chocolate tasting party!! How FUN is that???
Find a chocolatier near you by contacting the corporate office from their website... www.dovechocolatediscoveries.com They'll hook you up, and before you know it, you'll have the chocolate coming directly to you! This is a chocolate lovers DREAM!

Godiva boutiques do in home chocolate parties too. They also will do catering for fresh dipped strawberries, macaroons, berry cups, etc. Any of their fresh dipped items. Also, a lot of products are made in store, including the Salted Caramel Cashew Bark. Plus, select stores make their drinks called Chocolixers. It's sort of like a milk shake. It's ice, and pieces of Godiva chocolate ground up together. They're amazing, like liquified chocolate bars. I'm really excited about this new collection, a lot of this last year has felt recycled to me. Not many truly new items.
