NARS is the coveted cosmetic line created by innovator and celebrity image-maker François Nars, and a nominee for a Readers' Choice Award in Best Cosmetics Line.
NARS is driven by a single man's vision. "To me, beauty is about balancing the fun stuff with a classical, timeless wardrobe of makeup," François Nars has said. It's that philosophy which skyrocketed him to fame, at first in the Paris fashion world, and which has led him to create some of the most iconic looks of our time, from Kate Moss to Madonna's many reinventions in the 90s. It has only been 15 years since François Nars rocked the makeup world with his debut of 12 vibrantly concentrated lipstick shades at Barneys New York, and the NARS line has since grown to over 400 products.
