Breguet Crazy Flower Haute Jewellery Watch

Is it just me or does something about this new ultra-luxury women's watch from Breguet remind you of Georgia O'Keefe close-up flower paintings? Do you know what I mean? Perhaps my thoughts are edging on being too prurient, but instead of this watch being called the "Crazy Flower," I would have called it the "Lady Flower." The (likely) white gold case is mostly hidden under a "floral" pattern of many diamonds the three outer layers are large baguette cut stones, while smaller stones decorate the face in more detail. The dial itself is egg-shaped like the classic Raine de Naples ladies watches from the brand. The pieces has over 36 carats of diamonds on it - with close to 300 stones.

Inside the very lady-like watch is a mechanical Breguet caliber 586 automatic movement. It features just the time on small blued steel pomme style hands. The strap is black satin fabric. The piece is elegant, but showy. I still can't believe that Breguet's designers weren't thinking feminine anatomy when designing the watch. Even they remind us that the outer parts of the watch are meant to look like "flowing petals." I mean come on right?! But sex sells. And in the luxury world it needs to be very subtle and demure when it comes to a classic brand like Breguet.
