Pearls trapped under a cage of white gold and diamonds. This is the main concept in the Louis Golay
Pearls of Time collection. The concept is interesting actually. Based on the specific model, each watch takes a number of natural pearls, and cuts them to have segments protruding out of the sides as well as the dials on some of the models. The cage design produces square shapes which artfully contrast with the roundness of the pearls. The watches are in white gold with a variety of diamonds and dial choices. Seen above is guilloche machine engraved with diamonds, while the highest end versions has diamonds and pearls all over the watch. There may be a few cases sizes, with at least a 35mm wide version available. Design wise, the Pearls of Time collection is visually stunning without being too gaudy. The use of pearls is certainly unique, while the straps are in various colors of satin. Inside the watches are either Swiss automatic movements or quartz movements - with limited edition models available as well. Read more below for more images.
