Six fireplaces, huh? So we all get assigned a carbon footprint assessment to determine our TAX. I will not be able to afford to heat my house with my woodstove(currently my only heat on my rural property) because of that, but old Al will be sitting pretty burning a nice crackling fire just for ambiance. Of course, I could get an electric furnace only to have Obama quadruple my electric bill and grin from ear to ear while he's doing it. A whole bunch of us are barely making it and they just keep on coming with all this insanity. The gall of these people. To think how people laughed when people said the elites were turning us into a third world country. Not so funny now.

Heather, I wonder how long we can survive even at the current rates for power...my Jan. bill was over $500, followed by $450 in Feb.--this in a house with only 2 people, one of whom was in the hospital the entire month of Jan! Our power bill is 2nd only to our mortgage & if that horrible 'cap&tax' bill succeeds, I don't know what we'll do. Obama & his fellow dems seem hell bent on destroying our nation as we know it--I pray that millions are waking up to see what decades of liberal policies have done to destroy the American way-of-life & will use every ounce of their energy (pun?) to rid us of the corrupt power structure in DC that is more dangerous than Al Queda & Osama (isn't it ironic how the names Osama & Obama are identical with the exception of one letter?)
