Al Gore Buys A Montecito Mansion

Former Vice President Al Gore and his wife, Tipper, have joined the rich and famous who call Montecito home. The LA Times reports that "Incovenient Truth" author spent $8.875 million for an oceanview home on 1.5 acres. The property includes a swimming pool, spa and fountains. Like many other homes in the area this one is a Mediterranean-style home. It has six fireplaces and five bedrooms.

A variety of celebrities live in the area which is located in California's Santa Barbara county. Many celebrities including Oprah Winfrey and Rob Lowe own Montecito homes. It boasts some of California's most expensive real estate. The Gores also own a large mansion in the Belle Meade area of Nashville, Tennessee.

Wow, you people sure are jealous of Al Gore. I thought rabid Gophers loved the rich. Guess it's only the ones that are not a part of the Democratic Party.

Such fools all of you are. Instead of complaining about what Al Gore does for the poor, how about you all OPEN YOUR HOME to the less fortunate. Give 30% of YOUR income to help the poor as Al does.

Better yet, why don't YOU move to France? No, that is too good for you all. They, after all, have FREE healthcare, FREE college educations for the people, and they provide RETIREMENT for it's citizens which is a lot more than Social Security.

Oh, and why do Repubs even accept Social Security since it is a "socialist" program? You people are sick.

We are told what we need!! Think about it.Go into any big retail store try to find one that sells just US products. When O'bama signed in the "Health Care Bill" we we're showed "what is good for us". I have a friend that was born in England, she said that this is exacly what England did. When it happened the quality of medicine went down. She calls it Socialist medicine. I would like to know who is going to pay for a persons medical when someone looses their job. About this going green project. I would like to see a vehicle that someone can run that a person drives one way 100 to work. How about for farmers that have large acres. There are farmers that have tractors that have more than 350 horse power (diesel engines). As far as I know we still need food to eat. How about the semis on the road. The Trains even have diesel engines to power the generators on them (5000 horse power) each engine. But we still need semis from the trains to ......... Going green will only go so far. The only problem we have are the gready people that don't care about any thing except money and them selves.We have every thing in this country that we need. If we would just do what is good for this country and just help the other countries when needed. Not try to change their government. Guess what we have wars in this country, rape, drugs, murder, kidnapping, robbery the list goes on and on we need to clean up our own door step before we go some where else. There are countries in this world that have been at war with other countries for centuries. Guess what, that's their jobs. Besides that that is all they know.

He isn't a holy example of the NEW environmental movement, He is just a guy that had good intentions and wallowed and basked in what everyone brought him.
Money and lots of it, Gifts and invites!
He is a politician first.
He has to ackknowledge a purpose for a reachable goal and bring others around him to agree that it is IMPORTANT!
and the environment is .....now he got us going and is now benefiting from it's fortunes.
Just remember Al Gore as a guy with good intentions.

A "hypocrite" is ANY person who SAYS one thing and then ACTS in a contradictory way.

No political party, religion, sexual-orientation, nationality, race or creed has a monopoly on this little quirk of human nature.

It is, no doubt, easily provable that EVERY SINGLE HUMAN BEING has at some point in their life acted in a hypocritical way.

I certainly have. More times than I can count. Sadly, unlike Al Gore, I never made any money from it.

In your case, may I suggest you try to act like an educated person, yet still can't capitalize the first word in a sentence. That is also hypocrisy.

May I also suggest that 'repug' is not a real word. Are you referring to members of the Republican Party? You could capitalize 'Repug' to make your point more clearly.

Or are you just an Internet troll looking for some excuse to practice your typing?
