Al Gore Buys A Montecito Mansion

Former Vice President Al Gore and his wife, Tipper, have joined the rich and famous who call Montecito home. The LA Times reports that "Incovenient Truth" author spent $8.875 million for an oceanview home on 1.5 acres. The property includes a swimming pool, spa and fountains. Like many other homes in the area this one is a Mediterranean-style home. It has six fireplaces and five bedrooms.

A variety of celebrities live in the area which is located in California's Santa Barbara county. Many celebrities including Oprah Winfrey and Rob Lowe own Montecito homes. It boasts some of California's most expensive real estate. The Gores also own a large mansion in the Belle Meade area of Nashville, Tennessee.

Hypocrites, all of them. They want to tell us how to live, but the rules don't apply to themselves. Gore and his mansion. Obama and his "at some point, you've made enough money" quip - yet HE reported $5 million in taxable income last year. How does that happen - being President doesn't pay THAT much. As for "global warming" I think it's another concocted scam by our leaders to take more control over our lives. Notice again how none of the rule changes the want to make for us apply to them. 'Nuff said. Frauds and hypocrites.

Americans are very gullible people, look at how Sarah Palin in such a short time is already worth Millions just by standing on a Podium all over the Country, talking against Obama and Dems, getting paid $100,000 per speech, and she doesn't talk about anything constructive. Someday down the road you will see her buy one of those exclusive homes right next door to Al Gore. We are always fooled by people justy trying to make themselves wealthy off the Middleclass and poor.

Al Gore is the equivalent of the 19th century snake oil salesman, only what he's selling is a TOTAL lie. For him to become so wealthy off of this myth of global warming is so hypocritical. Between the criminals running the country right now and this criminal, it tells me that people on the left don't mind being robbed of their own and their children's futures by these thugs. Just look at him - he's fat and he's obviously a liar. He's pathetic and so is Tipper - what a stupid name - Tipper!

My wife and I check our KW Hour Usage each day with money being so tight. In the spring we average around 19 per day in this 1100 sq foot patio home. I wonder what Mr. Green's usage will be in his little home?

How much fuel does he burn jetting between his California and Tennessee mansions? Probably almost as much as Nancy Pelosi, as she jets from DC to California on the taxpayers' dollars. These people know no shame. They are so self-absorbed, they actually think they are superior to the rest of us!

Reading today's weather report in our morning paper, my husband noted our temp w/be in the low 90's today, then read the record temp for our area was 96 set in 1910! Heavens! It must be worse than Al predicts! Those few hundred cars & our selfish lifestyle were causing mayhem, even then...NOT!! Al, like his fellow politicians, has used this ridiculous farce to get rich off the backs of ordinary, hardworking folks...he, along with his fellow lying allies, does indeed belong in prison, preferably one situated near those so-called melting glaciers, heated only with solar panels, lighted with mercury-laden CFL's, dependent on a wind-farm for energy, a vegan menu, & low-flush toilets, which would definitely be a downer since Al & buddies are definitely full of s--t!
