Bradley Whitford and Jane Kaczmarek In San Marino, Estate of the Day

When I heard last year that long-term married actors Jane Kaczmarek and Bradley Whitford were calling it quits I knew it was only a matter of time before we had a chance to gawk at their real estate. The LA Times reports that the pair have put their San Marino estate on the market. San Marino is a small, affluent enclave near Pasadena, California. They bought the home in 2004 for $5.9 million.

The Italian Renaissance Revival estate was designed in 1924 by Pasadena architect Clarence L. Jay. The home is on more than an acre of land that includes formal gardens, a swimming pool, a spa, guesthouse and additional gardens. The home went through an extensive renovation in 1996-97 at the hands of interior designer, Matthew White. There are six bedrooms total as well as a living room, dining room and a library. Some of the home's more attractive features include burnished walnut toned hardwood flooring and leaded glass windows. The Master Bedroom wing takes over the entire front of the house and includes a sleeping chamber with fireplace, two bathrooms, a large dressing room and three large tiled outdoor terraces. This home is listed at $6.7 million.

The home is absolutely beautiful, but I have never heard of either one of them as far as celebrity goes.

Bradley was on West Wing
Both have been on many other shows

By the way I've never heard of Bradley Whitford or Jane Kaczmarek and I do not live under a rock nor do I watch cartoons on a daily basis. Ok maybe an hour or two a week (with my 8 and 10 year old) but that doesn't make me a moron. I tend to watch dateline, something news related, or MeTV. Trust me hollywood, the NBA, the NFL, the NHL, Baseball, Golf, singers, etc., etc., etc., would go broke if I had to support them. It took personal growth for me to realize that their wealth comes from the average joe and I refuse to make them wealthier. My friends disagree with my choice but give me MeTV with good clean humor and I'll choose it over the current stuff any day of the week. Not knowing current celebrities does not make one an idiot contrary to what some individuals (ABRAXUS, DERRELL) may think.

Excellent taste. Just beautiful. The colors are perfect, the rooms are large airy, and the grounds unbelivable. Lone the kitchen floors and the extra pantry.
Someone should tell Clooney about this home. It would be perfect for him since it's his taste, I think. He likes the Italian Villa look. Reminds me of my old place on the beach. Regret selling it. Maybe these teo should reconsider. A lot of people regret selling homes that were special. This home seems very unique and special. Someone was very thorought and took exceptional care and details are exquisite. Love it. The price seems nice, wonder where the location is. Wish I could afford it, not now with teaching position, but maybe some day. Gorgeous, just gorgeous...Wouldn't touch a thing, expect one little item. The bedroom stand. Other than that every little detail, even the yarn room/office is amazing. Nice color cooardination. If she decorated this home on her own she should be a decorator for others who lack good taste or don't have the time. Good luck you too...

The exterior of the home is beyond beautiful, the interior needs some color and work with the furniture . Wow with this kind of asking price the interior is lacking the staging/showing qualities expected...

There is no doubt whatsoever that the estate is beautiful - - - however - - - it is also an INSULT to society that is barely able to survive in this day and age of cutbacks etc. WHY does ANYONE need such a LARGE home - - - it only brings about unnecessary headaches!!! Oh, and by the way - - - in some of the photos - - - the furniture is too small for the area!!! IF celebrities even CARE about anyone other than their own importance - - - let them sell off some of their extravagance and GIVE to the very people who MADE them stars in the first place!!! - - - the every day person !!!
