New Designs Of Villa Vacations, Part 2: Villazzo Villas
Last week, I wrote part I on the Design Of a Villa Vacation, by highlighting Abercrombie & Kent Villas, and how they create high end vacation experiences in Europe. This week, I am adding another exceptional company that creates similar, high end experiences in America and in Europe.
"Our industry deals with products you don't need," comments Christian Jagodzinski, President and CEO of Villazzo, one of the highest end villa rental companies in the world, "... so we design our villas to bring out the "need" in our clients. Villazzo Villas is a boutique villa company known in the US and Europe, partly because it is one of the most expensive, but also because the company is modeled on two unique hybrids: The Villa Hotel model and the VVillas model, a " lighter" type of Villa experience, with the same villa quality, but without so much attentive service.
"Our models serve different populations who have different needs and wants. Two years ago, I stayed at one of the smaller Villazzo villas in Florida and found it exceptional. The food prepared by the chef was great, the peace of the villas was outstanding, and the limo driver was always ready to take me wherever I needed to go. It was on par and sometimes above the best shared residence clubs and five star hotels I have ever sampled.
"We can tell that the recession, such as it has been, might be moving toward a conclusion," continued Christian, "as in comparison to last year.... well, there is no comparison! We have substantially more business this year than last! Part of this business increase is the introduction of our new VVillas idea -- where clients can have the same great villas, but have services a la carte. It is sort of "Villa Light"! We have seen many families and extended families who like to cook themselves, do laundry themselves, and do not need the level of complete service that the Villazzo Villa hotel structure has. We have noticed that young families as well as older ones – those that like to do their own thing, are most attracted to the VVillas model, and kids and grandkids just love this also. We are looking at many other destinations both in the US and in Europe for this coming year."
As of this writing, the pricing for the Villazzo VillaHotels and the VVillas depend the seasonality ( high/peak/low) and the length of time the client wishes to stay, and the size of the Villa. Below is the range of the Miami Villazzo VillaHotel pricing, all per day:
