Sure, move to NY! You'll be happy IF you don't mind being taxed to the poorhouse and getting virtually NOTHING for it! Albany rivals Chicago and D.C. in corruption, thuggary and bankruptcy of morality. Nepotism and cronyism runs rampant. Business owners are being extorted millions to subsidize the YEARS of the Metropolitan Transit Authority's CRIMINAL mismanagement. The teacher's union has destroyed any hope of EVER giving students a good education. Parks are closing in record numbers, roads and bridges aren't being maintained and the thieves have been witholding our state tax refunds because they've already blown their budgets out of the water. I HATE NY!

I agree NY sucks I was born and raised there Im now 63 have been tortured by their system and authority. They r ALL corrupt escpecially the police force on up. IThe city workers have people sign in and out for them to get overtime plumbers, electricians hospital workers, its a joke theres no affordable housing and what should be available for disabled and seniors who live on $700 a month have a 10 to 15 yr wait if they dont die first. So sad that the immigrants get free housing in NY and rent their apts out and they live somewhere else, while the NY workers who are for real are suckered out paying for long lines and obnoxious cruel criminally minded people. GLAD I MOVED!!

You'd be happy in (Des Moines Iowa). More corruption and crime here than in New York. I lived in New York. Moved out. Miss it. So much to do. Your paycheck their is adjusted for cost. Don't know any stupid New Yorkers. You have to have a certain amount of intelligence to live in New York. Miss good conversations, hard working people, the many individually owned stores and restaraunts. You can get anything you want any time you want. Great Nightlife.
