Beau Bridges In Hidden Hills, Estate of the Day
Beau Bridges, elder brother to recent Oscar winner Jeff Bridges, ad his wife Wendy are selling their Tudoresque home in Hidden Hills, California. Like the 68-year-old actor himself, this home has a charmingly lived in quality. The home was built in the 1970s and is on a 1.15 acre lot in a gated equestrian community. The home has six-bedrooms, some tucked under the eaves of the home. This is a family house and there are plenty of rooms for hanging out including a sunken den with a fireplace, family room and a billiard area. The house has a wooden spiral staircase, brick fireplaces and stained glass windows in many places, even in a shower. Although much of the house looks unchanged from its earlier years the kitchen has remodeled with Poggenpohl cabinets, granite countertops and Viking stainless appliances. The property includes a pool, tennis court and a greenhouse. This home is listed at $3.25 million with Susan Stark of Gibson International.[via Move Trends]

Ugh. This lovely house deserves to belong to people with taste. It's current owners apparently have absolutely none. At least the grounds are well-kept.

What, the pigeons come with the house? Why take pics of those for the listing? This home could be beautiful. It's full of very cheap looking old furniture. I can smell it from here. Please, paint or stain some of this woodgrain. It's making me nuts. All in all, the place SCREAMS 1970.
Ending on a positive note, I liked the greenhouse and the pool and grounds are beautiful.

I agree...Some people want to stay in the 70's...remember Charlie's Angels?

Great home if you want to have a lot of privacy. Some people are stuck in the 70's. Frankly it was a better time, don't you agree?

It screams poor white trash meets money! lol Sorry, but lived in and homey don't mean metal folding chairs and cheap looking old furniture. I love his acting but like his eyebrows the home needs remodeling.

I discovered my Great Grandfather , a professor of music from Germany and who had immigrated in 1872 to Philadelphia, had suddenly picked up and moved to Los Angeles. In what may have been a land grab he became owner of a plot of land 1 mile by 7/8 mile...which is now the bulk of the Hidden Hills Community. According to land records, he was the owner in 1900. He died in 1907 and I haven't found out why or how it changed hands afterwards.
It was the mile wide plot just south of corner of the Ventura / Los Angeles county border, running along the border to the west.
Beau Bridges Property appears to just inside the southern edge of the original plot. Included for sure are the homes of Ozzie Ozborn, Wink Martindale, Franki Valli, and Matt LeBlanc (former home).
Lisa Presley, Howie Mandell, Morris Chestnut and Bruce Jenner/ Kardashian's
homes are just outside the boundaries.
