How to Stock a Home Bar
Those who enjoy having friends over and entertaining guests know that having a well stocked home bar is essential. That would be an excellent BAR! I definately would add a Brandy Sniffer in the glasswares...

Great article. I would recommend upgrading your tonics and other mixers to premium mixers likve FeverTree or Q-Tonic. I get mine at Kegworks.com

This would be a well stocked home bar the neighbors would covet :) As stated it all depends on what you and your guests enjoy. Mojitos and Daiquiris are very popular so you might want some mint to muddle and fresh strawberries to blend. See http://www.barinacraft.com/stocking-home-bars.html for a checklist detailing bartending stock for mixing drinks voted most popular.

Sounds great!! Any chance we could get estimates as to how long each of these would "last"... I'd hate to stock a bar with all those liqueurs that expire in a couple years...

Margarita MIX? Seriously?
Why would anyone take advice on stocking a home bar from someone who makes margaritas from a mix?

This sounds like a list/concern from the 70s.

I always had this issue on my mind of not knowing what consists of a home bar and what to get for years. I knew it would be expensive, but I enjoyed social drinking over the time I had of living on this planet so it would be worth it instead of taking friends to the local bar or restaurant. I always had a good regard for friends who seemed to have everything available at their homes. This article was long in coming for the uninitiated.
