Michael Jackson's Furniture To Be Sold At Auction
Last year before Michael Jackson's unfortunate demise Julien's Auctions was set to auction off many of hiss belongings in a lavish affair that was later canceled. This summer as part of the "Music Icons" summer auction taking place at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino Las Vegas on Friday, June 25th, Julien's Auctions will sell some of the King of Pop's unused furnishings. The auction includes 22 furniture lots commissioned by Michael Jackson by Colombostile Artisans for his planned residence in Kent, England, during the "This Is It" concert series in London. A recreation of Michael Jackson's Kent home will be shown at the Newbridge Silverware's Museum of Style Icon's in Ireland from Tuesday, March 16th - Sunday May 30th and at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino Las Vegas from Monday, June 14th - Friday, June 25th. The exhibit will show how the entertainer's home would have looked like with his custom designed Colombostile furniture. Colombostile will be donating proceeds from the sale of these items to benefit MusiCares and Joshua's Heart charities.
Michael Jackson always had rococo tastes and the pieces include a seashell encrusted silk upholstered "Shells" bergere with silver leaf front legs from the "Haute Couture" collection (Est. $16,500/$18,500), a lavish "Swarovski" crystal embellished bergere finished in platinum-gold leaf and upholstered in metallic leather from the "Haute Couture" collection (Est. $16,500/$18,500), A faux leopard and Ostrich feather trimmed "Wild Cat" bergere from the "Haute Couture" collection (Est. $16,500/$18,500), A regal pair of red velvet armchairs with gold double-headed eagle embroidery from the "Kalamos" collection (Est. $57,000/$60,000) will also be sold. Also for sale is a magnificent 17th century style parcel gilt ebonized wood writing desk with mother of pearl inlay from the "Il '600" collection (Est. $115,000/$120,000) and a monumental Baroque/eclectic style red velvet and parcel gilt sofa with hard stone inlay from the "Esmeralda" collection (Est. $130,000/$150,000).
The auction will include more than 200 items from Michael Jackson's life and career as well as other music icons. Studies by David Nordahl for some of his pieces of Jackson-themed art that adorned Netherland will also be offered for sale as well as a selection of Michael Jackson jackets, lyrics and sunglasses. Pieces form other icons are also represented. A lock of Elvis Presley's hair is is estimated at $6,000-$8,000. A Jimi Hendrix guitar, Britney Spears stage costumes and much more round out the three-day extravaganza.

This auction is a Fraud!!! Do some checking - there is no record of Michael Jackson ever ordering this furniture. Although MJ had unusual taste, his taste was English classic military and royalty, not over-the-tope Italianate kitsch!
This company has already lied saying they returned a 750,000 dollar deposit to Katherine Jackson, which her lawyer has categorically denied, stating they never heard of this company and no funds exchanged hands.
This is an obvious attempt to clear their warehouse of items they can't sell by mis-using the name of Michael Jackson. They claim MJ placed the order by telephone. Yeah, right - BS!!!
1. The whole world knew MJ was in deep debt - who takes a telephone order for 3/4 of a million dollars over the phone!?!
2. Michael liked to shop, see and feel what he was buying.
Remember the Bashir shopping trip? He didn't actually buy that stuff - it was just for the camera hahaha!

I wanna buy Michael Jackson's dead body and use it as a target silhouette out at the gun range.

Boy, the crap that people are willing to buy. Makes you wonder.

I wouldn't mind a memento of Elvis, Michael Jackson and Dale, Sr., but Michael's furniture sounds a little to Liberace for my taste. But it does make it easy to see how he died broke. Damn. Hundreds of thousands of dollars for just a few of the many pieces he was having custom made for a concert stint in another country? Why not rent a house already furnished? That would be cheaper, not to mention what to do with all that expensive ass furniture when the concerts were over.

If I'd have known this was a story on Michael Jackson I never would have clicked on it. I see the old bait and switch program works fine on line. I'll be more cautious before I click here again.

WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD WANT A PEDOPHILES FURNITURE >

They wanted to sell a lock of his hair but found head lice and had to burn it. Why was he allowed to continue singing after the first time he sexually abused those boys? That is what makes people mad in America, when they allow Obama type people to get away with anything, even murdering innocent dogs.

Eh, Alice, the lock of hair referred to Elvis, not Michael Jackson. Perhaps you should read the article before spouting off. But then I am guessing you go through life that way.

I wonder if I can buy Michaels remains like he did John Merricks ( The Elephant Man)?
