Christie Brinkley Unloads Bad Luck Wedding Suit For A Good Cause

Christie Brinkley is the latest celebrity to auction off the contents of her closet for a good cause. She worked with Clothes Off Our Backs to auction off jewelry, shoes and clothing. Of particular interest is a little garment Brinkley would likely rather forget, the beautiful white Armani suit she wore at her marriage to Peter Cook. The fourth marriage didn't work out well for the former model but that didn't discourage a bidder from paying $775 for the suit. All proceeds went to the American Red Cross.

I've got nothing against Brinkley but I'm just not seeing how this made the news. People give their old clothes away everyday and some even donate their wedding dresses and there is no article about them.

Christy "chipmunk cheeks" lived in France with a man who supported her during her early modeling career- she then traded him in for a succession of four spouses whom she married for their wealth and, during this period of exchangeable relationships and while married to any one of these spouses, became involved in several adulterous affairs.
She has never adequately been called out by any media people for her scandalous lifestyle and was treated as a media darling during her most recent divorce. Why?
As a chutzpah capper to the aforementioned, she manipulated a supposed Hamptons charity designed to deal in that area's evacuation in the event of a nuclear power plant major problem. The result- the charity is kaput, the millions donated are gone as are the accounting books. She has brass for hair, pseudo testes, and gall.

When Christie was engaged to the Moet-Chandon Champagne fortune, she was already a super model and rich. I waited on them when she was filming National Lampoon's Vacation and they seemed to be in love and happy. It's hard to say who was more beautiful. He died a year later in a race car accident. She's probably still haunted by this and will be for the rest of her life. Give her a break!

the other one on the slopes who was a criminal.
She made tons of money off her looks and brand. She is no golddigger
and what was that about throwing stones at glass houses..
Put your money where your mouth is.. how do you know she has affairs
cuz she told you.. did you or are you scorned. wow talk about bitter and
jealous. I would rather be a 4 time loser than married to liars, cheats and users.

First of all Christie Brinkley's first husband (the one she married in Paris when I believe she was 19), died in a motorcycle crash, so get your facts straight! Why are you so against Christie Brinkley - she made her own money and never, ever lived off of any guy! That 3rd husband had absolutely no money - he mooched off of her and she never got that money back - (I think as long as he stayed away from their son - which he had no problem doing - some father, the debt was erased!). What a guy! She just is way too trusting. Give her a break!

She didn't live off of a man in Paris. She and her husband lived in Paris where they both worked. When she signed as a model, there was no fledgling career. She did not engage in affairs as you should know.

By the way, did you have to sign as a registered sex offender? I thought that the little girl you set up as your toy was underage?
