Morgan Freeman Wears Bespoke 46664 Bangle to the Oscars
46664 Bangles are taking the fashion and celebrity scene by storm because not only are they interesting and stylish but they support a good cause -- like the luxury version of a plastic Live Strong bracelet. The precious metal bangles support the 46664 campaign, which is an African response to the global HIV/AIDs epidemic and gets its inspiration from the leadership of Nelson Mandela, and its name from Mandela's Robben Island prison number (466) and imprisonment year (1964). The bangle program has received renewed interest and attention after Morgan Freeman, nominated for his portrayal of Mandela, wore his bespoke emerald and black diamond 46664 Bangle to the Oscars recently. He's rumored to never take it off but also says he'll be auctioning it off at some point to further support the cause. The bangles come in a range of prices from $23.95 for copper all the way up to $12,900 for the platinum model.

We were excited to see the 46664 Bangle bracelets worn so graciously by Morgan Freeman, Lori McCreary and Morgana Freeman on Oscar night, and are grateful for their support of the 46664 Bangle.
Anyone can own this special jewelry with the mark of 46664, Nelson Mandela’s prisoner number. The official bracelets are in stock in the US, for immediate delivery, and can be bought at http://www.theBangle.com or by calling 1-866-984-6664.

why don't the ones with the jewel encrusted and prescious metal bracelets opt for the copper and donate the diffence in price to the cause. If they really believed in it, that is the way it would be done.

Mr Freeman's diamond and emerald bangle bracelet will be auctioned at a later date, and the proceeds will go to the 46664 Campaign of the Nelson Mandela Foundation.

I won't be wearing ANYTHING with 666 on it. YUCK!
Fran Mar 12th 2010 4:09PM
Superstitious nonsense.
heather Mar 12th 2010 4:50PM
I am with you there. I will never wear anything with 666 on it. I don't care what it is for if them numbers are on there, I will not get it.

Doesn't anyone else besides me find it extremely curious and almost diabolical that AOL has "Disabled" comments for important subjects of National Interest, and now only offers comments on trash diversion subjects like this!? Isn't also curios that this took place almost immediately after citizen opposition to Washington DC and Barrack Obama began to significantly mount!!! AOL is censoring FREE SPEECH among it's users and the Citizens of the USA wishing to make their voices heard. SHAME on AOL!!!! SHAME on You for being outright oppressive, and playing ball to such tripe and Dogma in Washington DC!!!!!
Tom Mar 12th 2010 5:59PM
I totally agree with you,
Of course my thoughts were exactly the same as your.
The mark of the beast on the bangle.
Of course there will be those who think the numbers are meaningless.
Well so be it, let them think what they want.

The exact center of the city of Jerusalem (Yerushalayim) is 31° 47' 00 N by 35° 13' 00 E. If we add the numbers we get:
31° 47' 00 N
+35° 13' 00 E
----------------
6 6 6 . 00

I love our President and would like to support him but I strongly agree with the 666 thing. That is just not right. Wonder how he got those piticular numbers? Scary!!!
richrk Mar 12th 2010 5:24PM
It says in the article (above) where the numbers came from. And you people are being silly, 666 is just a number, and the devil isn't real.
erin Mar 12th 2010 4:15PM
It's not 666, it's 46664. Or if you prefer, it's 466, 64. Did you read the article?
Just another superstitious person (insert eye roll here)!
Sue Lormis Mar 13th 2010 1:54AM
Do you really think the # 666 will just be blasted out all at once? No, it will be done slowly, so society doesn't realize what they are accepting. We being lead like sheep right off the side of a cliff, just following those in front of us, "the blind leading the blind" so to speak. Eventuality the # 666, will become an accepted, regular and eventually needful #. Not by this chick!....Sorry, I read the story and I don't like how the ending goes!!!
Tom Mar 12th 2010 6:10PM
For all of those people out there who think there is no devil, and 3 sixes are
superstitious,
I just want you to know at the devil is very real, and GOD is VERY REAL AND ALIVE
for those who think otherwise PLEASE I ask you to reconsider your thinking.
Come Judgment day the NONBELIEVERS will be in for a terrible time, for Judgement will be Horrendous.
PLEASE reconsider your thinking,
DO NOT DELAY, ACT TODAY.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
Charles Carter Mar 12th 2010 6:25PM
Actually, President Bush started the most comprehensive support for African HIV/AIDs epidemic. OOps, Is Obama taking credit for that too?
origamib Mar 12th 2010 6:24PM
Ok, it's really hard not to pick on the grammar and spelling of the posters who are protesting the fact that the numerals '666' appear on this bracelet. I mean, really? "...if THEM numbers IS on there". Sounds like Jed Clampett meets the 'fellers' on Hee Haw.Superstition and ignorance seem to congregate in the same gene pool.
TheMan Mar 12th 2010 6:49PM
Maybe the 46664 means 4 the devil
bflogrl4evr Mar 12th 2010 6:54PM
To MARK: I thought I was the only one noticing every time something about Obama, Healthcare (like tonight's re Pelosi) AOL has the comment turned off. I do believe they are controlling what we say yet they allow the nitwits to beg for love with their stupid fake website.
June Mar 12th 2010 7:24PM
If anyone thinks that AOL is not printing their comments then maybe everyone should boycott them. I'll be surprise if they pass this comment.
Me of course Mar 12th 2010 8:45PM
I agree! I have tried to contact AOL about it biased articles about Obama and Health Care among others and can't reach them - They're like Fox news online! It's awful!
