The $800,000 Bentley Station Wagon

At the Geneva Motor Show Bentley just unveiled a stunning two-door station wagon or "shooting brake" model dubbed the Continental Flying Star built by Italian coachwork firm Touring Superleggera. Based on either the Bentley Continental GTC with a 560 hp twin-turbo 6.0-liter W12 engine, or the GTC Speed with a 610 hp engine, only 20 examples will be built at a base price of about $800,000 apiece. The car's completely new rear compartment features two foldable rear seats and a variable loading space. The term "shooting brake" does not refer to the braking system but originated with custom built two-door luxury estate cars altered for use by hunters and other sportsmen such as golfers, equestrians, and polo players requiring easy access to larger storage areas than offered by the typical automobile trunk. with this economy we are here nor a days, I don't think this is a sweet news people are having problemd getting one piece of bread to eat, place to sleep and we are talkinging about 800,000 car. I am not against it. I just think there should be a website only the richest people who can afford this kind of cost and, who are interested in this kind of entertainment use. This kind of article or picture is just very depressing for others, even though it looks nice. Don't you think?

I happen to have a Diesel' Sports Car', My '2000 F350 7.3 LTR Diesel long bed Ford. I only have 200 K mileage on 'Brutus' ( my trucks name ). Brutus hauls Boats to FL, CA and all points in between. Brutus has hauled anything that I have placed behind him. I can find no, absolutely no reason to spend 800 K for transportation that can only transport a few people. I can tow the yacht along with all of these women to party with at a brisk 125 mph. comfortably. Brutus also looks good being a bright red with a small amount of pin stripping. I have found that the young ladies love Brutus. I am a Native American Indian, I think that I would look ridiculous behind the wheel of this car, plus it does not have a high enough payload and I have 1 turbo, a big one, and develop about the same amount of HP and have 4 wheel drive and carry 40 gals of fuel. Oh, also having a day cab Brutus is limited to carrying only 2 young ladies and myself. But that is about all of the young ladies thatI can handle for a weekend, after all, I am 70 years old. If I were younger then a crew cab would be needed for all of the extra young ladies!!! OWOOOOOOOOOO
