Keno Brothers To Launch Their Own Furniture Line
If you've ever watched "Antiques Roadshow" you've probably seen the Keno brothers. The blond-haired, blue-eyed twins are both experts in American furniture. Leigh and Leslie Keno have been interested in rare Americana since they were kids and have been involved in the antiques business since their teenage years (for the whole story, check out their book Hidden Treasures, an interesting read for anyone who likes antiques). The Keno Brothers have spent their lives evaluating furniture but now they are getting into the furniture making business. They have partnered with Theodore Alexander on their first collection. The furuniture will be classic, of course, with an eye toward things that are simple, functional and easy to care for. There will be a total of 40 select pieces which take their cues from earlier periods. Theodore Alexander specializes in furnishings and objets d'art that have an elegant look and are inspired by antiques. The "Keno Bros." collection will be unveiled during the High Point Market held April 17-22, 2010.
