More like "engineered to purpose". But thanks for thinking of us. Unless every mechanical component of the Celsius is designed to make it work better as a phone, then what's the point of the mechanical components? You're right though. It does look very cool!

carol

Comments on Celsius X VI II Papillon Mechanical Mobile Phone

Carol,
Since when is "over-engineering" a bad thing? :) A Ferrari is totally over-engineered to perform the task of driving but people totally prefer it compared to a Kia. Over-engineered implies that it does much more than it needs to, but still does all those things well. Over-engineered is part of luxury. People shouldn't mistake it with badly, or illogically engineered. The comparison is a good one with Roland Iten. By the way, nice fast use of Google Alerts :)

Ariel Adams

Comments on Celsius X VI II Papillon Mechanical Mobile Phone

Roland Iten is definitely one of our references.
