Will An Evening With Elway Tempt Colorado Vodka Drinkers?

Sometimes it seems like everywhere you look there is an ex-football player selling something. Howie Long is pitching cars, Troy Aikman is shilling for rental furniture and former Denver Broncos quarterback John Elway wants you to drink his vodka. Elway had joined the board of Nude Vodka, a Colorado-based company.

As part of his involvement the vodka brand is offering "An Evening with Elway." Each bottle of vodka sold in Colorado has a number on the neck label. Seven numbers will be randomly drawn on April 30, 2010. The holders of those bottle numbers will be invited to meet and spend some time with Elway, a man that Shawn Harlan, CEO and Founder of NUDE Spirits calls "Colorado's living icon." The winners can each bring a guest (both must be 21 or over). Winning numbers will be announced on the Nude vodka website, via Twitter, and FaceBook and winners will be invited to attend a private event with John Elway, have their winning bottle signed by John Elway and grab a quick photo.

Hello John I hope it works out for you and as far as what people think or drink it does not matter alcohol is in beer also Big Rob! You just have to know when you have had enough and be responsible and not try to drink and drive i drink beer and liquor and i am doing just fine have never got in a fight or any trouble because of my drinking i have partied most of my life ,its people that just dont know when there body has reached its limit or they dont care that is a major problem wake up america!! Know when you had enough, and drink responsibly.

I disagree with big Robb....I'm 63 years and have drank Vodka drinks sense old enough to drink...and I've never had a problem.. as any drink, you drink it sensibly. Your the shot caller baby, go for it... wish you lots of success again..

Just don't drink too much of it.. I actually dabbled with vodka and OJ combined with ice in the 70's as a teenager but haven't since then so it's been over 30 years..It's been a long time!

I lost my home, my job, my spouse and my health to vodka. It all started out by winning a free bottle of vodka and in less than six months I drank my way into a mental hospital. Vodka is that bad, I know, I have been there. It's just a good thing that Elway's jersey number wasn't 17 or 27. Alcoholism is an incurable disease, I know, I have been there. It got to the point that I would do anything for a shot of vodka, no ice, no water, just vodka, all day and all night till one day it all came crashing down on me. I know, I have been there. Please, please don't let it happen to you. Beware the horror of the first drink.
