Ron Popeil In Beverly Hills, Estate of the Day

We first heard about this one back in December but never gave inventor and pitchman Ron Popeil's Beverly Hills home the full estate of the day treatment. Popeil become part of American households through his Ronco ads (if you need a reminder, one of his infomercials is after the jump). Popeil sold his company in 2005 for a reported $55 million.
Popeil's gated Beverly Hills retreat is an English country-style house on more than an acre of land that includes a tennis court, a pool with a deck area and a two-story guesthouse. The main house has beautiful wood ceilings, slate floors and skylights. The master suite has a fireplace and French windows which open onto a sun deck with a spa tub. This home remains listed at $5.995 million.

I wish I had 5.995 million dollars, I'd buy it, it's beautiful. I love the kitchen and all of
the bright light. Lush landscaping and the pool looks so inviting I would jump in it
right now! And it looks like it would have a lot of privacy, hidden up in the hills, then you could go skinny dipping....I'm just saying.
Peace
Michele :)

My favorite Ronco commercial was for "Mr Microphone" "Hey goodlookin' we'll be back to pick you up later" Remember that one? Played through your car stereo.

The pictures of his home do not do it justice, I have been in his home several times and it is more gorgeous than it shows here. This is an area of Los Angeles that is adjacent to Beverly Hills and all the homes are old money.
Ron has one of the largest and most varied collection of olive oils in America (see the second picture).
Ron is, in person, the gentleman that you see on the screen...very real, down to earth and very approachable. He deserves all of his success. And, I was elated to be involved with him when he was promoting the Chicken Rotisserie.

I think those are GINSU KNIVES hanging on the kitchen wall.............. wow, what a beautiful house. I could only dream of living in a place like that. Ron has always been one of my heroes, a great American inventor and promoter.

I remember an interview in a Los Angeles newspaper with one of Ron Popeil's daughters. She seemed so likeable -- I hope that she will fare well in the distribution of her father's estate. And I'm sorry for her loss. It hurts to see your parent's home in the real estate section of the newspaper or in an online ad -- Just one more reminder of your loss.

I truly see stupid people....isn't this story about a home for sale??? Yep it is...however, I have yet to find a story where bloggers always have to comment with with their racist and insulting comments towards eachother...not to mention all the know it alls as well....it's a story people...some jackazzes are such tough guys behind their screens...if i had an extra 6 mill, i'd grab that house in a heartbeat it's beautiful...but i don't so i won't...have a good one dummies

giving a house back like this, I guess people are giving their refund back, because they saw his new vehicle the Toyota Popiel.

One RONCO product I recall was a record cleaner that spun the LP from the center and brushed it from both sides. I still have record albums and wish I had a cleaner like that.
Ron Popeil's house is nice and not too extravagent. He has been blessed with success and seems to be a genuinely nice guy. I am always interested in what he comes up with and wish him well in his future endeavors.
