Suri Cruise Has Her Own $850 Handbag
Suri Cruise is getting started early on her designer handbag collection, and (no surprise) so far she has the very same taste as her mother Katie Holmes. Suri was spotted carrying a tiny metallic Salvatore Ferragamo "Sophia" bag (not the bag shown here) recently as she was carried aboard a helicopter in Jamaica by dad Tom. Mom, bringing up the rear, was toting her own larger version of the same "Sophia" design. Color and all.Yes she's a cutie, and no we don't know the whole story, but is it really necessary to give a little girl a purse worth almost a $1000 when everybody's traveling and in jeans and t-shirts? Maybe if she's going to the Oscars.

This is outrageous! High heels, dangling earrings, and an $850 purse? Her parents have more money than sense and by looking at this crazy outfit...taste. What next for the kid? A bra to match mommy's? She's 3!!!

The parents treat her as if she's an accessory - and a tacky one at that!

What do you expect from a totally insane father who believe that scientology cult is real and an insipid mother with a lot of money? Better they should teach her to be generous and kind. That won't happen it's Hollywood and all the idiots who think celebrity is more important than a military medal of honor deserve this kind of garbage as news.

These people feed us what we have proven that we want from them.
And to prove it we try to live and act like them every chance we make to do so.

Folks....celebrities get a lot of "freebies". Even if the retail price is $850.00 for Suri's smaller bag, chances are, they got it as a gift. Advertising is excruciatingly
expensive, and it behooves designers to give away merchandise to the celebrities, because they will undoubtedly be photographed wearing the item.
Now the designer is associated with a hot celeb, and their name gets printed in the mags. If you do the math, the designer saves thousands in advertising dollars, by giving the goods away. Get it?

Ought to put her daddy in those high heels. They might take him up to average height. Do you think the kid might end up being a little effected? I don't care if they got it for free. It still makes her look like a little spoiled brat.

I can't understand why people feel the need to run another person down .
Suri is an innocent child that is very girly and likes to wear dresses , and 1" heels !
I'm raising my deceased son's 5 year old girl and she wants to buy the high heels for kids in the toy department at Wal-mart . She would probably have a pair if they were in her size . I have bought her several handbags from the same store , only because we are in a rural town that only has Wal-mart to shop at ! If Tom and katie bought her high heels from the toy department , and handbags at Wal-mart I think people would be tearing them down for having so much money and buy Suri's clothes and shoes at Wal-mart , while they buy their things from designers !
What would people say about the way you spend your money on your kids ?
I feel spoiled brats are kids that are out of control in behaviors not in the things they have .

she is three years old, give her a break, my three year old grand daughter does the same dress up, it's all relative to your life style/income. Sounds like a lot of ugly jealousy to me. At the end of the day, it is her parents choice and what we say doesn't really matter.

I got my niece a purse almost exactly like that, and it cost less than $6 at the mall. She loved it anyway, and it's just as pretty as Suri's. If I had that much money to spend on accessories, I'd be giving it to Haiti or Chile, or a local charity, because I'd feel too guilty to carry that thing around in public.

In the first place NO tiny tot needs to BE in HEELS(for that matter , a good number of adults should reconsider the constatn stress not only on their feet but back/body alignment caused by constant wear and tear which lead to problems as well !!) Kids feet are still FORMING , and frankly, human body was made for BARE FEET walk abouts but due to ground hazards, indeed shoes serve a purpose/etc. The nonsense of encouraging the CHILDREN to adapt to adult versions is rather repulsive --childhood last a short time--LET THEM BE KIDS, it is to their benfit not just in regards to shoe selections !!Perhgaps then they won't then spend their ADULT lifetime trying to "Recapture" the elusive /missed youth !!

Oh Good Grief!!!
First of all - These Parents have plenty of money. If their kid wants these things - Why Not! My parents hardly had any money -- but they still tried their best to give me things that they couldn't couldn't have or afford when they were growing up. I was a Casting Direct in NYC when Tom Cruise was starting out -- and Auditioned him for something - I can't remember what - maybe a commercial. He was as nice as he can be -- and gifted as an actor. He worked harder than any other performer I knew to get where he is. I certainly think his religion is wierdo to me - and I believe the elders in his religion have trapped him -- but mine might seem so wierd to him. I suppose it's fine to speak negatively about the parents - but Leave this little beautiful girl alone.

Not that I condone tom and katie's actions but is the problem actually the editor of the magazine focusing on the cost and the maker of the handbag?? I don't know much about Ferragamo or designers in general but the bag is cute!
