The Eiffel Tower in Las Vegas is very romantic! The view from the table we sat at was breath taking! I highly recommend this place.

Yes Jules Verne is a special experience. You go for the view and the experience NOT the food. Beautiful presentation and service but the food tasted like cardboard! There's no place like Paris for romance though....just walking the streets is romantic. P.S. Too bad the Carnelian Room in SF closed as of Jan 1, 2010 kor it surely would have made the list.

The Summit Room at Harrah's in Lake Tahoe has great veiws anytime of the year....summer over the water, winter snow, fall colors or spring green. Food is excellent, service impeccable and they know how to enhance a romantic mood.

My husband and I got engaged at the Summit Room in the fall. The views, the pampering service, the FOOD were the perfect surroundings for popping the question. Who could say no?? Not that I even considered it. Would not reccomend New Years Eve...we were there for our anniversary some years later and even though they went out of their way to ensure our special romantic evening, the CROWDS outside and on the way out afte midnight were unsettling.

what about Portland City Grill in Portland, Oregon. High above the city on the 40th floor. Awesome.

Worst service and very poor food quality for an astronimical price at the Jules Verne. Rude staff and the food was dredfull. What a waste of time and money.
