Abbaworld Opens In London

Fans of Mamma Mia! might want to plan a pilgrimage to London where the Abbaworld museum/theme park opens today. The exhibit has 25 room with more than 30,000 square feet of space devoted to the Swedish quartet of Bjorn Ulvaeus, Anna-Frid Lyngstad, Benny Andersson and Agnetha Faltskog. The rooms feature many spangly costumes as well as re-creations of the band's recording studio and the seaside cabin where many of the Abba songs where written. The big draw is the interactive aspect which includes karaoke singing booths, dance mats, quiz machines and hologram videos that let you sing and dance alongside an animated version of the band. Björn Ulvaeus and Anni-Frid Lyngstad attended the opening night of the exhibit at London's Earls Court.
