Hope the new owner has a good designer who will furnish it the way it should be done. And again, we have a "new" kitchen that doesn't have ANYTHING to do with the architectural integrity of the house. You would think anyone who owns this kind of a house would understand what should and should not be done... Go figure.

John Green

Comments on Treetops, Estate of the Day

I agree with the above comment about the kitchen. It's a crime to install a cookie-cutter kitchen in a house like that. That being said, I love how truly lived-in this house is. All the little details and personal items really give it a relaxed feel.

T. Despite it's size, it is a warm, inviting home that we loved. The remodel is interesting and the landscaping is beautiful. Vermont Township is filled with interesting, friendly neighbors and provides some of the most beautiful scenery in the area. The pictures are great, but they don't do it justice. There's so much more to see! I have the history of the location and the details of the building process which took a couple of years. When my parents listed it back in the early 80s for $750,000 it was the most expensive home ever listed in Dane County (according to the Wisconsin State Journal). How times have changed!

Laurie Hansen
