HGTV To Give Away New Mexico Dream Home

The HGTV dream home giveaway for 2010 has begun. This year's dream home is located in Sandia Park, New Mexico. The 3,900 square foot home is a contemporary adobe style house with views of the mountains. It has three bedrooms, a home office, home theater and a small guest house. It is also solar powered. In the 14 years of the contest this is the first time that the dream house has been built in New Mexico. The HGTV website includes videos, photo galleries and virtual tours.

The HGTV Dream Home 2010 Giveaway grand prize package is worth more than $2 million and includes not just the home but also $500,000 in cash, a 2010 GMC Terrain, high-end appliances and the HGTV Dream Play Home. The contest runs until February 19 and you can enter online once per day as long as you are a U.S. resident over 21 years of age or send in as many snail mail entries as you like. The winner will be announced on March 15 during a special program on HGTV.

What a beautiful home. We're actually losing our home right now due to my husband breaking his neck several years ago and we never got back on our feet.What perfect timing. Thank you HGTV

We are in El Paso right now and will be retiring out the service in about 5-6 months we are looking for a home... this is a beautiful home we have 4 kids 3 of which are teenagers, this home will be prefect, our first home, we been in the service 22yrs this will be our dream home. Thank you HGTV

last night I watched the tv special on the HGTV/dream home and I was blown away. I've been a designer for years and I was taken away with the great mix of elements. I especially loved the tile fireplace with the period chairs. Great job with wonderful blends of styles and textures. I think this dream home might be off the charts. I think winning this dream home might be as close to heaven as one could get.

We would be the happyiest people in the world, I am a house wife and we have 4 kids one of which is a 4 year old little girl, we need the space this looks so moderin and beautiful, I would fill like we hit the lottery, which we never win anything. this would be our first to win something in our intire family I pray that I am the lucy pick from HGTV we would not have far to move we are here in El Paso Tx. getting ready to retire! Thanks Again HGTV for havin such a grand give away like this, allowing people to dream big.

This would be the dream of a lifetime. My husband and I have worked all of our lives and to win something this big would be life changing for us and our loved ones. We can only dream.

What a beautiful home.....It is breathtaking !
I love everything about this home.... The building design, the color scheme,many different textures that were used and the art work displayed, I also the love the driveway that leads up to the house.
I think New Mexico would be a great place to live....especially this area.
I am an artistic person and would love to retire here.

Will this wonderful home be solar powered? Is it in city limits, what city, what is the sewage situation? I would love to return to my roots. It's been fun touring the home and dreaming of living in it. Fabulous decor and layout! Thanks for months of fun dreaming.

My husband and I, we've been dreaming to have a house and lot..but we can't afford to buy, because he's the only one working and I'm student..he support me in my expenses and everything...it's a big sacrifice for him..So we've been watching HGTV all the time, hoping and dreaming to have a house like that...very peacefull, elegant and decent place to live to raise a family someday...It's a big blessing if we win that house...Amen

Being that I am in the military, I tend to watch HGTV alot. It is the only slot of shows that gives you the dreams of being somewhere else, and it helps me get ideas on green projects to saving money when I do choose to have a residence one day. These homes are great and a blessing to those who are blessed to win them. I only get a chance to enter every now and then, but just being a part of the excitment is more than enough for me. So if one of the following individuals win, I hope you never loose your blessings. Stay focused once you receive, and be blessed if you do not win.

We love the new hgtv home. We have vacationed in the area several times & It is one of the best places to visit. We are retired and it would be a lovely place to live.

does hgtv have two , or three people who will have keys to see who's will open the door ? is that the way it is done past , and will they do the same here , or will they just name the winner straight out without them knowing about ?
alot of questions here !!!!
i wish it was me , because my girlfriend , and i love the mountains , all i can do is wish , because i am not lucky , never have been !!!

It would be the greatest gift for family and friends to be awarded this lovely home. My wife has tried and entered religously every contest for years... her Dad just passed away... this would put some home and center point back in her life
