Jackson, Wyoming, Estate of the Day

When it comes to luxury real estate in the Montana and Wyoming, Jonathan Foote is a name you need to know. The architect has made a niche in creating huge rock and timber homes. Today's example is a huge home in Jackson, Wyoming. The home is on ten acres that includes a koi pond. The house itself is over 23,000 square feet with seven bedrooms, two offices, a wine cellar, gym and a 12-seat movie theater. The home is listed at $29.5 million.

I'd change some of the artwork (not fond of the bear over the fireplace), but otherwise, I'll take it just as it is. Now, where's that lottery ticket?

No, if you're going to (over)pay for a $29.5 million pile like that you need to keep the bear "art" over the one fireplace and the equally cheap Thomas Kinkade 'painting' (used in the most lose use of that term) above the other fireplace.
I have no objections to a rustic home, but this just feels to be excessively overworked in an attempt to make it so casually Wyoming chic. Rather dull architecture that has no soul and once again takes on a timeshare resort feel.

There is no Thomas Kinkade painting in this home.
Maybe when "Nature's Retreat" is released next week it should be added
where the other fireplace is. right now the other fireplace does not
have on of Thomas Kinkade's master paintings. God bless!
(I like the home)
