Interestingly, million-dollar properties are becoming the norm in Montreal nowdays, I'm counting about 300 1milion+ properties downtown. A few years ago this was literally unheard of, you could grab 5000 sq.ft lofts for half a million in this neighbourhood. Even whole 8-story buildings with stone cut facade went for under the million.
