Fantastic house! Nice archicture and great seaviews. But who did the interiors, the Salvation Army thrift shop? Ugh!

Those interiors are what real New England summer house interiors look like.
It isn't Newport. The furnishings are usually old, disused and abused family stuff that isn't quite right for the main family house anymore, but is perfect for the "beach" house...in Manie, Mass, RI and CT...and at the lakes in NH, this is the norm for the older houes's and families. The large number of twin beds is so that more children/grandchildren and friends of both have a place to sleep.
Although dated, it is the NE that I remember from a long ago youth. (sigh!)
