I think a nice way to prevent these costly errors (think of the cost of retro-fitting a bathroom x number of hotel rooms = OUCH $$) would be at least review the design with a cross-section of typical guests. Afterall, those of us who like the "Ice Hotel" are probably not the same as those who stay at a Best Western.

3) Front and back mirrors by sink, where both hang flat and therefore, do not accomplish anything
4) Table and chairs not in location that can be used for television viewing
5) Television in location that cannot be seen from most of the room
6) Improper heating and cooling
7) Rooms to small
8) Main fan or heat or cooling system next to bed where noise should not be
