The Brangelina House
Celebrities have inspired some pretty interesting art over the years. We've seen a golden yogini Kate Moss, a birthing Britney and countless Marilyn Monroe images but the latest celeb-inspired piece is pretty unique. Phantom-Financial has announced the December unveiling of the sculpture of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, "Brangelina Forever" by artist Daniel Edwards, just minutes from Brad Pitt's own birthplace in the Oklahoma City area. The sculpture is part of the 4,000 sq. ft., $500,000 house named "The Brangelina", by the Los Angeles artist known as Xvala.
"Brangelina Forever" is a life-size casting of Brad and Angelina in an embrace. It will be installed in the ceiling of the master bedroom. A press release states that the statues contain crushed glass from wine glasses from which they drank while reportedly celebrating the anniversary of their first meeting on the set of 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith.' "The Brangelina" is a house which is stenciled with words that represent both Pitt and Jolie including quotes and references to some of Jolie's tattoos. The house will be sold and any potential owner must promise to extend 'honorary ownership' of their home to Pitt and Jolie and to accommodate them every time they come to town to visit Pitt's grandmother. The Brangelina will be on public view starting Wednesday December 16th at 11 a.m. in the Thornbrooke neighborhood of Edmond.
The statue and the house are part of the documentary "Domestic Bliss: The Daniel Edwards/XVALA Project" by Oklahoma filmmaker Dave Smith scheduled to premiere at The New York Academy of Art. A trailer is after the jump.

That is either one creative roofer or one that has too much time on his hands! Love that picture.

Except for the bags under Brad Pitt's eyes, I never would have guessed who this sculputre is supposed to depict.

I dont get it? Will the house be 'finished' or is that the finish product with painted studs? Whats the point of painting on the studs if its going to be sheetrocked? Im confused by this whole "concept". Best wishes to the creative minded artist/builder.

Angelina is The Skank of The World and Brad is nothing but a weak pussy. I am with Irene on her comments.

You go Irene, I too am sick of Brad and Angelina. How could they be so cruel. Just like they committed adultery, one day, someone is going to come and tear their playhouse down and turn their lives upside down, just like they did Jennifer. I bet that they won't be together for very long, it's just a matter of time.

first off, i like the idea. it may be a little off the wall, but i like the concept. it makes the home more personal. just like people who like to leave their initials in places they visit, i would leave my initials in hidden places in the wall or the like after moving from one place to another.
second, i don't think anyone here has the right to leave nasty comments about anyone. in this case, angelina and brad. and then to incorporate God in your comment does not justify leaving the hateful, ugly remarks. we're in a modern society now where people can make their own decisions and should not be judged by them. if anything, i think brad and angelina are role models in the sense that they are genuine, good-hearted people that do what they want, have found harmony in themselves and in each other, and have made it their life's mission to do what they can to make the world a better place than they found it. they don't go around looking for attention, just as they didn't force any of us to read this article. if anything, they hide. the media gives ppl what they think they want to hear or see, and i don't see them doing anything with the intention of drawing attn to themselves.
another thing, it was a given that brad and jennifer weren't working out and they were gonna break up. no surprise, jennifer doesn't have much to her. a typical plain jane, plays the same role/character in anything she can find. no talent. no personality. if anything, i think her movie roles have more character than her. yes, my opinions are based off of what i see, but at the same time, i don't see much. not my fault. and if you ask me, i think it's shallow to not want to have kids b/c you don't want to risk losing your figure or whatever. oh my! how sad and selfish. if i wanted kids and my spouse didn't want to, can you blame me for wanting to find someone that loves kids and wants to have them with me?!?! i commend brad and angelina for what they have done and how far they have come, despite their past. i think this house is a great idea, besides the idea of it being a bit over the top to they point of obsessive, lol
