Nightingale House, Estate of the Day

You have to love a home where a giant flatscreen television shares the same room with a suit of armor. Nightingale house in the Mayfair area of London is a classic home which has been given a recent renovation to make it elegantly livable. In its current condition it is cluttered but deliciously so, featuring fine antiques in many of the high-ceilinged reception rooms. Bedrooms, and even a bathroom, contain fireplaces with carved marble mantlepieces. The home has a roof terrace, four bedrooms but only garage enough for one large car. It is listed at a Freehold Guide price of £12,000,000.

Seriously loving it. The dome. The copper bath. The dining table. et al.
Would get rid of the table in the kitchen - I like lots of space if I actually cook. Would move or remove a few, very few, items. Otherwise, I'll take it 'as is', please. Oh, you want me to pay for it? Ummmmmmmm.......

This is not as nice as it looks. No garden and very poor natural light.
Great location in centre of town but feels very cold when inside. Its been up for sale for at least two years!

Well, usd$20mi for that? I don't think it's really worth it if you think you could probably buy a decent castle/mansion in England for similar amount or even less.
I don't know about the current real state market over there but I'd bet this residence doesn't worth more than half of what its asked.
